Either the bar is abysmally low or they're just cracked despite sleeping through lectures and not studying. I'm leaning toward the ladder. I think they're one of those kids that doesn't study or try during high school, but still gets decent marks. You know the type. Noelle mentioned that they've asked for her help studying before. Though, I feel like this might have been one of their excuses to hang out at Noelle's house. Kris is so interesting to me. They are so goddamn shady and aloof, but also really silly. Rotates them in my mind.

Guess what voice I read Berdly's lines in They aren't even similar characters lol. They are so dissimilar that you can't really find any voice lines from Four that I think would fit Berdly at all, weirdly enough. Four generally has very blunt and childish speech patterns, while Berdly talks like he has an entire thesaurus transcribed onto his wing hands for him to refer to. Furthermore Four is usually cold, and I feel that Berdly's delivery would be more hearty..? SOMEHOW I've managed to make the voice work, but it was a very strange decision of me to make. The people I'm playing with don't seem to mind it though LMAO I honestly just thought it'd be fun, and it is. It's definitely NOT my actual headcanon voice for Berdly though.

There are so many things about this game I am fixated on, but then there is the relationship between Dess and Kris. It has a choke-hold on me.

I think Kris could have looked up to Dess as someone in their life that had an affinity for music the way that they themself do. Also piano guitar duet??? Maybe??? OMORI??? Think about itttt ooooo...

If Dess turns out to be the Roaring Knight im screaming ohhey whats that just off of the screen by the way

The narrative is strongly leading me to believe that the knight is Dess. I think Carol is more of a red herring, being an antlered monster and having a sword as her weapon of choice, being incredibly menacing and having an antagonistic introduction. But I don't think it's her. And I'm not even inclined to believe that Carol is all that evil, kind of similar to how Queen was (only less hilarious). I also think Dess being the Knight would just be so cool. Extremely cool and equally sad. But it would also contextualize Kris's alliance with the Knight more clearly. Not as a straight forward "deal with the devil" dynamic, but having this background and these emotional steaks involved.

The Knight's battle theme makes me weirdly emotional for this reason.

I can't wait to learn more about Dess (and also to see her actual design >_>)

Have the Noelles I made to cope with online summer school💞 I managed to convince a few of my friends to play through the game on a Discord call with me. We're on chapter 1 right now, but I've already seen all the current chapters. Back in highschool when Chapters 1 and 2 came out, I didn't post any of my art anywhere and barely participated with the fandom in general. Now I'm kind of thinking of joining a few small servers to maybe make some more friends that are into the game. Just maybee >_>
