I wish I could stop jumping from an interest to another, because I heard ONE song and I could feel my pirate hyperfixation vanishing like it was some kind of fairy, and I hate it.

But I don't think that I will abandon the Au, I just need to overcome yet another lack of interest and ideas (and being a little depressed too, but that's just natural of me).

Has pirate Dimentio flirted with captain bleck before 👀

I was thinking about this one while trying to sleep, and maybe Dimentio would refrain from flirting with Bleck, firstly because he's a very serious man, but not like Nastasia, and secondly because he feels something different coming from him, probably because of the Object™ that he has.

And Bleck is pretty much as sad as he is in the game, so the dude barely leaves his cabin, making it a little hard to have this type of conversation, but despite that, Dimentio does talk to him sometimes, mostly about his plans.

The funniest thing about this au is that I'm basically throwing away all the interesting things about spm akshjd but I also think that I still didn't get to the parts that they would feel like themselves, which is the "main story", or the part that Mario shows up. (I'm saying that because Dimentio, for now, is acting a little too friendly)

And with that, I needed to really decide what will happen because I feel like the void will be out of place in this au.

What does shadoo look like in the pirate AU?

I still need to think of a better representation to her ghost form, but I've been a little down lately so it's a thing that may take a while

possible angst idea-- Dimmy waxing poetry for someone, perhaps Mimi or O'Chunks, but it's just Dim reciting pre-existing poetry ((or it's inspired by pre-existing poetry)) it's all a show, and the words aren't his, but oh does he make them sound pretty~ ((your design of Dimmy has infected my silly brain, he's too pretty for his own good.))

Do any of the pirates have their canon powers?

That's an interesting question, I thought about it in some occasions, mostly when I'm staring at a wall or something, but I was planning to give them something closer to their powers in game.

Dimentio obviously isn't just fighting with a sword or using a pistol, it would be cooler if he still had some tricks, specially because he has that mysteryous past of his and some connection to magic, as he has some visions of both his past and future in his dreams, although they're not precise nor clear. Walking on water looks like a cool power for a pirate too, it's basically the levitation that he has in game, and shooting that shuriken things too, but way smaller.

Mimi is also going to be a witch in the au, she summons spiders (like how calypso in the pirates movies kind of summons crabs) and I was thinking of her still turning into a nightmare monster. Don't know how yet

O'Chunks is still super strong

Nastasia still knows how to hypnotize people, I'll probably make it like it's in game too

And the Count has the Thing™ that he stole from his family after destroying the island he and the rest of his people lived in, still don't know if it will be a book or other object, and it does come with sick powers, I imagine that he still teleports, he can talk with the dead and create funky weather conditions, like snow in the middle of the ocean or weird winds that go in whatever direction he wants.

do dimentio and o'chunks hold hands? do they be gay and do pirate-related crimes together? will they live happily ever after as they sail the seas?

They wouldn't be together in the main story because it's a retelling with some changes but I'll allow some romance between them on side stuff I might come up with owo

Like, it would be pretty different for me to make O'Chunks have a crush on Dimentio instead of Mimi being the one attracted to him, as she would think he's just a womanizer like lots of men she encountered before
