It's his birthday!

When he had been invited onto Lola's ship, he wouldn't lie - he'd been suspicious. Who could blame him? Lola's twin sister had been complicit in staging an assassination attempt against their mother. For all he knew... Lola held the same views. If some of the siblings wanted Mama dead, then it was safe to assume that they'd wish the same upon him. As much as that hurt to know.

Heading onboard Lola's ship could not be considered safe. But, in the end - he was quite strong. He wouldn't say he feared for his life. It was more that he worried she would try something, for the emotional toll that would take on him.

He looked about her room. It was tidy and cozy. He noticed that there were a lot of photographs around the room, of the siblings. That was sweet... But, why was Lola's face crossed over with black marker? Because she didn't consider herself part of the family? If so - why keep the photos? Almost as if she'd read his mind, she answered.

She was upset, Perospero could easily tell. Her eyes looked glossy, like she was holding back tears. He was glad she still felt concern for the family. She even still had his Vivre Card ( all the siblings did ). He glanced down at his candy-hand for a moment. He didn't like to be reminded of it, and tried to ignore it as much as possible, acting as if it didn't bother him.

❝ I'm sorry to have to tell you that Opera is dead. ❞ He said, his voice almost a little flat. It was HIS FAULT for not protecting his little brother. Losing his siblings had always been a nightmare for him, and he couldn't quite grasp the fact that it had actually happened. ❝ So no, everyone is not okay. ❞ He didn't want to make her feel bad, but he thought it was only proper that she should share in his grief.

❝ But I'm glad to see you. Perorin. I'm glad you're safe. ❞ Did he have better things to do? Of course. He was a very busy man, but - seeing his long lost sister? That was IMPORTANT.

Awkward Reunion

Ten years. It had been ten years since Lola last saw her eldest brother, or any member of her family for that matter; Lola almost collapsed when she saw her brother, and she swore she had a mini-heartattack when he approachd her.

Lola had heard about the disaster in Tottoland involving the Vinsmokes, as well as the attempted assassination orchestrated by Capone 'Gang' Bege, her twin sister Chiffon's husband.

Lola for whatever reason invited Perospero back to her ship, although she was certain he was going to kill her, she wanted to be able to at least pretend she was ignorant.

Lola invited him into her room,ignoring the looks her crewmates gave her, her room was relatively clean aside from some empty whiskey bottles on her bed from the other night. She set up a table and chairs, and while her brother sat down, she started making tea.

Lola noticed Perospero looking at the photographs in her room; pictures of her with her siblings, however she had used a black marker to cross her face out.

"I-it didn't seem right, to leave them as they were. Considering the circumstances."

She didn't want to tell him it was because she knew she was no longer considered family. Why state the obvious, right?

"S-so, h-how is everyone?"

"I-I read about t-the assassination in the paper..."

When Lola saw her brother's arm, she frowned

"I was worried when this started acting up."

She held up the vivre card she had made for her brother.

"Are you o-okay?"

"Is..is Pudding okay?"

"Is everyone okay?"

Lola was trying so hard not to cry, she found an unopened bottle of whiskey and took a swig, trying to maintain her composure.

"Sorry, you probably have better things to do then listen to me."

There was something incredibly satisfying about having his siblings listen to him. A lot of them would often argue, and Perospero had been afraid that... With his newest FAILURE, they’d be even less likely to listen to him. So when Cracker actually listened to him... It meant a lot. It was approval. It was trust. It motivated him to absolutely never let his family down again. He was going to go after Mama and bring her back safely. It was his job.

It tugged at his heartstrings to hear Cracker say that if he didn’t come back, a rescue party would be arranged. He didn’t know if he fully believed him. He wanted to, of course. But he thought that perhaps, if he didn’t come back, his siblings would gather around and deem that in the end it wasn’t worth looking for him. A part of him WANTED to be worth looking for, but another part - would rather see them safe. Coming after him might be too dangerous. Naturally, he wasn’t going to voice any of this to his younger brother. He reached out with his good hand, patting the other on the head.

❝ Ku ku ku ku. ~ Don’t worry, I will be back. And when I return, I want to see you fit for fight again. Now be a good boy while I’m away. Perorin. ~ ❞ That last part was a bit of a joke. Cracker was too old for Perospero to call him a good boy. / @fallesto ,, moved .

It was not a chance meeting. At least not fully. It was by chance that Perospero had found himself on this part of the Grand Line, especially considering these days he didn't often leave Tottoland or his mother's side. He'd heard rumors about a woman who perfectly fit his long-lost sister's appearance. He could not resist at least looking for her. It had been ten years since he last saw her. You'd think that since he had so many siblings, he would not find time to worry for her. That was not the case. Perospero felt concern for all his siblings, and especially those who were apart from him.

He'd thought the rumor about Lola being on this island had been a long-shot, and thus he was surprised when he ended up standing face to face with her. She hadn't aged much, he didn't think. He could easily recognize her. Certain features of her resembled their mother. The pink hair, the rounded cheeks. She was shocked to see him, he could tell. Perhaps afraid too. She took a big chug from a bottle of alcohol, as if to strengthen her spirits. Perospero looked down at her, feeling relieved to find her in good health. While Mama would never forgive Lola for her betrayal, Perospero felt no animosity towards her. How could he? All she'd done was follow her heart. Wanting to marry for love was not a sin.

❝ I'm glad you can still recognize me after all these years, Lola. ❞ His tone was casual, aimed to put her at ease. He didn't want his own sister to be afraid of him. ❝ Perorin. But it seems you don't know me anymore. As if I would ever harm my dear sister. I simply wanted to see you. I'm glad you seem alright. ❞ He was smiling now, clearly showing his relief. One less thing for him to worry about.

"Peros?...Is that you?"

Lola was shocked when she saw her older brother, she had been on this random island for only a few days to gather some extra supplies. She never thought she would cross paths with any member of her family, least of all her eldest brother.

She gulped, but tried to appear nonchalant.

"How have you been? It's been 10 years since we last saw each other."

She was gonna need some courage for this conversation. She took her canteen from her pocket and took a big swig from it, gulping the whiskey as it burned her throat.

"Are you here to kill me?"

Do you think he has a chance of returning in the anime? I can't accept that he died in Wano

[ According to his wiki, he is still alive ( thank god!! ) . I am not caught up with the anime ( though I know what happens xD ) - There is always a chance of him returning, but I don't think it's very likely. He's not the "main" character in the Charlotte Family, and with how big the character gallery in One Piece is, there isn't much room for an "obscure" character like Perospero. But, never give up hope!! ]

Hi, I really liked the way you write, I would like to know if you could do some headcanons of him(Perospero) in love with a female Y/N, I know I would have to have a very special connection with him for that to happen, but it would be really cute. (sorry my English is very bad)

My apologies, but I absolutely do not write Y/N stories or Canon/Reader stories.

I know some people enjoy them, and to each their own, but for me, it makes me really uncomfortable to have the lines between real life and fiction blurred. There are many wonderful writers in the OP fandom, but I don't think the roleplay-part of the fandom is the best place to ask for Y/N here stories. Hope you find someone to write for you!
