Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

Hello everyone, Thank you for reading my story. I'm Ahmed Sadeq, I'm 30 years old, a Palestinian from Gaza. Before the war, our life was full of happiness, where l worked for on online news newspaper.I was preparing for my wedding to partner Hadeel which was going to take place in December 2023, I was also preparing our house for us to live in

Afrer the start of the war on Gaza, I lost my job due to constant internet outage.

Unfortunately, I lost the house in which I intended to live with my wife, Hadeel.

I had ro get married without a wedding and lived in modest tent.

We were able to leave Gaza to Egypt, with my wife and elderly parents who suffer from" chronic diseases ", by paying the evacuation cost of $5,000 per person.

Now we all live in one house in a modest neighborhood called Arbaeen in Cairo

How Funds Will Be Used:

Basic Necessities: your generous donation will go toward help us to pay the house rent and meet our basic needs of food, drink, and clothing, in addition to medicine for my elderly parents in Egypt.

None of us have permanent residency in Egypt and therefore we can't work.

Evacuation fees: The rest of my family members are in tents in the Al_Mawasi area inside Gaza, and you help them meet their basic needs of food, clothing, and drink. They live in difficult conditions and are surrounded by insects and snakes.

Reconstruction: My demolished home and my family's home in Gaza.

This is how my mother used to bake bread when we were in Gaza. Now my sister and brother buy a bag of flour for the equivalent of $300 if they can find it.

There is a real famine in Gaza and all goods are very expensive

1 kilo of tomatoes costs $5

1 kilo of potatoes requires $10

1 kilo of onions costs $15

Today is Saturday, December 28, at 12:00 AM.

At this time, as winter sets in, the weather here is extremely cold, and the fierce winds have torn apart thousands of tents. We lack even the most basic means of warmth — no winter clothing, no blankets to shield us from the bitter cold. The adults shiver from the freezing temperatures; imagine what the children endure.

While families gather during these moments around dining tables filled with delicious food, sharing conversations and laughter, we are suffering here. And while others sit by heaters telling stories to their children, we are simply struggling to survive, desperately trying to keep our children and ourselves warm.

Do not forget Gaza, do not forget us.
