Chilling with tha new Slugma while I think of names to throw at Wild... she's so CHILLLL it's crazy. I cave her a little cookie and she ate it right out of my hand...

I've been sitting on this ask for a bit now and here's the reason:

I don't know.

Being human is such a complicated, messy thing. Our lives are so short compared to some of the lifespans of our Pokémon partners. So I just... don't know.

I guess being human is about making mistakes? And just living them and trying to not make the same ones? It's about being able to change.

But that's more just... life in general and by that definition even Pokémon are human.

I think as long as you try your best and try to be kind to others (and don't let them walk all over you) is how you be human. Its just trying your best.

I'm already thinking of names for the little slugma. I get attached to these critters SO FAST...

Idea: we could scoop some of that old soil out occasionally for plants or a garden. Ashes are super nutrious for plants... many things to think about.

AHHH LOOK AT THEM <3 this was so cute I'm so excited we get to take care of this little creature... it was so hard to pick all those hardened spots though man. How is magma so... sticky?

After doing some adjusting and clearing out the old metal shed I had so there was shelter from any rain, we have gotten the little slugma set up in the back yard in an area where she can freely roam without burning down any structures.

Ember was worried about her since he was with me when I found her so I let him into her enclosure with supervision and caught a pretty cute picture!!

She had a lot of hardened spots from sitting still in that box that were breaking off so we removed what was no longer circulating magma but hopefully the rest of it eventually melts off on its own. We didn’t wanna hurt her. Super tiny now (only about a foot long) but hopefully the extra gravel and rocks in that section of the yard will help her get her strength back. Will update in the morning!
