Wishlist idea - involving radiostatic (i have a lot of thoughts)

I would love to do Greek mythology AU based on orpheus and eurydice. Vox being orpheus can be done as a romantic can be both mutually love each other or it's one sided.

If you done know the story of orpheus and eurydice here a quick breakdown of it

Orpheus and Eurydice are newlyweds when Eurydice dies, tragically bitten by a viper.

Grief-stricken, Orpheus embarks on a perilous journey to the underworld, the realm of the dead.

His musical gifts charm the inhabitants of the underworld, including Cerberus, Hades, and Persephone.

Hades agrees to let Orpheus take Eurydice back, but only if he doesn't look back at her until they emerge from the underworld. 

As they ascend, Orpheus, unable to hear Eurydice's footsteps and fearing deception, turns to see her.

This action causes Eurydice to disappear, and Orpheus is unable to return to the underworld. Devastated, he eventually dies at the hands of Maenads, who are tired of his sorrow, according to some sources

My ideas for this is Vox is orpheus and he believes their relationship is strong good that both parts are happy but alastor as Eurydice isn't happy anymore they been slow drifting apart for few years before an accident happens and alastor passes away. Then follows the narrative of vox going to hell or underworld to get Alastor back everything gose fine till they walking out of the underworld and Alastor makes his foot steps quiet on purpose he doesn't want to go back to the life they had. He free he happier now, Vox truns around al gone he gose on living for a few year dies they meet again in hell not on the best of trems and with a lot to talk about.

About  Relationships  and Physical Affection

I'm on the aromantic spectrum, so I know little more than most how this really does impact relationships on a personal level. Spoiler alert there is a lot of misunderstanding about the two so let's break it down into what asexuality means and what that means for al and then what  aromantic means and how that impacts him and this is just my personal views for how I write Alastor.

Asexuality –  It's different from celibacy, in that celibacy is the choice to refrain from engaging in sexual behaviours where as someone who is asexual  does not experience sexual attraction toward individuals of any gender which leaves said person to having 0 interest in engaging in  sexual behaviours or very weak and infrequent  want for sexual relationship because it is spectrum (if want to find out more google good place to start or I'm happy to answer questions about it)

Now, on to the radio demon himself and where I place him on asexuality spectrum, he does not experience sexual attraction at all, and he has never once wanted to engage in sexual behaviours. Now he lives in hell, of course he sees and hears about it because it's apart of life down there he just tunes it out he doesn't care for any of it and will actively avoid it but sometimes it can't be helped and he will make jokes about it and find humour in it. Though Alastor doesn't know he is asexual. He just believes that he hasn't met the right person like most people do when they haven't realized they are asexual hell even I thought this way for a long time. Alastor being asexual won't stop him from flirting with people or stop him from making comments about sex. he will if only to get a better understanding of how sexual relationship work and of course for his own entertainment of watching other people reaction to him asking because they probably don't expect it from him and also to annoy people. At the end of the day, no one is good enough to Alastor. No one is on his level, and no one will ever truly understand him except maybe Rosie, but even she doesn't know everything. Alastor is a man of misunderstanding mystery and deception.

Aromantic Spectrum - a person who experiences little or no romantic attraction to anyone. They may or may not feel sexual attraction. An aromantic person can fall into one of two groups: aromantic sexual people or aromantic asexual people. There are few terms that people may want to use to further specify how they identify which are all on Google.

Alastor falls into the category of aromantic-asexual or aroace for short.  Now this is where I'm gonna throw more terms at you, haha. This being that alastor is romance neutral which means he is just neutral to the idea of romantic relationships, he can sometimes experience very weak and Irregular romantic attraction but don't count on it. He much rather have meaningful friendships than anything romantic as he finds platonic relationships easier to understand as he has more experience with them. Romantic relationships are complicated to him; he has no idea how to handle those emotions. He quickly loses interest in someone if they state their romantic feelings to him because he is happy on his own 9/10 times but doesn't mean romantic relationships won't happen they are just a very rare thing for him to want. He does have his own twisted little love language which I'll talk about in a moment . I hope this helps you understand him more. I suppose you could call my version of Al being greyromantic. 

Now let's talk about my Alastor and how he views romantic love (Get comfy kids this gonna be interesting) He views love as a game that he can play with naturally it something that he can use to his benefits and views it as a game because he knows how to win those and having that mind set with it helps him keeps his emotions out of them because he doesn’t want those involved but sometimes they can slip through for certain people who are able to see him as more than just the radio demon and overlord which is rare people only want him for that and the power he holds. That being said he is a gentleman and will use  love language like acts of service and quality time be this by gift giving and learning enough about the other person to plan dates that fit into both their interests so no one will be bored for an example. He will use words of affirmation also when he sees fit to do so. He is touch averse. He has intense discomfort and a fear when someone attempts to touch him without his permission the best way is to always let him make the first moves and invite him to do so because oddly enough alastor is big on consent when it comes to touching. So say if someone wants to hug him the best way to this is to open your arms and  ler him came to you and let him make that choice. Yes this stems from his need to be in control but it’s also a tramura repose from his childhood with his father (I’ll right another headcanon about that at some other point) There are a few people he will let openly touch him with out fear and that’s Rosie and Niffty because he knows the two women well and that them mean no harm. He is a hard man to try and love because he is not open about his emotions or  what he wants. It is very much a guessing game with him but it also takes time for him to be more open to people he will say no a lot more then he will say yes to things.  

Love in any shape or form is a flaw, something he actively hides in the darkest part of himself. In shadows and under cover of night, afraid to linger, afraid to be caught. When he does think if it is falling which is rare it is with alarm bells ringing because no this is wrong or is right what are those feelings.

He views his own love as a mistake, a flaw in his code, a purchase he doesn't remember making and desperately wants to return. He doesn't ask for this. He sometimes doesn't even want it. It’s a problem––that becomes his problem ––and he would do anything to pass it off, burn it away, scoop it out of himself, or carved out with hooked knives before it can destroy him and make him weak. . He doesn't not care who he hurts in the process, only that he can’t afford to be hurt first. Being loved by him is to be loved by a figment of the imagination. It is to be loved in halves, or not at all. He doesn't have any between.

Physical Affection

If you have read my headcanon on why Alastor is touch-averse his lack of wanting any kind of physical touch shouldn't be a huge surprise and the other headcanon about relationships what you find out in this is not going be all that surprising.

This is a man who doesn't want love or affection outside of his own terms or wants it because of his need to be in  control and for other reasons which are explained in more detail in the headcanons which are linked at the top. He also really does not care for one single second if he hurts anyone to being touch he with brake his own bones at time don't put him he go to extremes if he really doesn't want it but like all things some days he can't avoid being touch-starved  and wanting to be close to someone in that way so he will go out a seek in the ways he sees fix.

Alastor has a lot of scars on his body. Being shot in the head and mauled by dogs will leave your skin and body gnarled and distorted. . Now his scar tissue is made up from fibrous tissue that forms when normal tissue is destroyed and they can become very sensitive if nerves have been damaged like most of his have been it’s why he always covers up as much skin as he possibly can. He deals with localized pain in the area where his scars it not constant but worse at night sometimes he can feel like his whole body is on fire by most of time he has numbness with the scars on his back  he can't feel those at all in fact he could very easily forget about them if he couldn't see the marks aside the top of his shoulders he can feel that area. He doesn't like his chest being touch anymore after all he has the scar from the fight with Adam and those scars I imagine take a very long time to heal.

Now that a bit out of the way let's get onto different types of physical affection and which Al likes better then others and why and also I will begin talking a tiny bit about public displays of affection.

Backrubs/massages - hates them if you want to die on the spot try it there no joking around here ha can't stand having his back touched, he doesn't really like messages either that too long with someone hands on his body thank you and it would relax him put more on edge. He will do this for other people and he is wickedly good with hands when it come to backrubs.

Caressing/stroking -Doesn't mind this at all if it's in small doses like you stroking his ears yes please or caressing his face or hand he will happily take and give this back when needed or he feels like being yet that tiny bit sweeter.

Cuddling/holding/Hugging - Mood dependent with romantic partners. a female friend he hugs and holds them when needed or asked. Here when it gets a little strange before his fav places to hold are people's necks because there a lot he can very easily do to someone's neck without much second thought, snap it, bite it you get the idea here man has a thing for necks. He is more into nuzzling into someone then he is holding it’s a deer thing he won't admit to but he likes leaning his scent on people he is close to. This needs to show others that yes this person belongs to him. That being said he will cuddle up with certain people. It depends on the level of trust he has with that person.

Holding hands - Fine. No note from Alastor here, it's just a thing he let certain people do. His hands are a safe place to touch. He also if he feels extra fancy will let you link arms with him.

Kissing - Hates the sound that comes from being kissed on the lips or hearing other people doing it makes his skin crawl. He will kiss you everywhere but actually on your lips. that being said he prefer biting more than kissing he like to leave his marks be it by full on biting or little playful nibbles here and there just more intimate for him and he is a sadistic motherfucker and get great satisfaction out of inflicting pain on others but he will kiss some on the lips but it would be a very quickly done.

As many have commented on how I write Alastor he very much like a  cat’s  behaviour wise when it comes to giving and receiving affection both does it fix him. He very much depends on his mood what is happening where he is, all these factors come into what you will get from. If you are out and about in the public eye the most you get is a pat on the head kiss on the cheek and hand holding maybe. In his own space where no one else is around different story, he in his safe place has a little more fun. He move other hands around when needed as well he not here for his own suffering just everyone else's.

For now I leave you with this little fact about Alastor, he likes necks as a point of contact with his romantic partners. It's a safe place to hold to reach for but also can very quickly be turned around if needed. There is a lot he can do like bite there, trace a claw from the top of their neck along their collar bone, kiss them or just strangle them the list goes on for him and he can be very creative.

Now if this was anyone else trying to crawl their way under his skin they'd be dead haha no point in sugar coating it was there? Sweet things were never good for you after all. That smirk slowly changes into a wide grin as eyelids droop down.

"You try too hard Darling when it comes to teasing me, honestly teasing me about time periods is over used." His own Clawed hands come to brush up and down the other arms. "It's cute all the same and we both know if I want to burn this place down I would have already done it."

There is a chuckle at his mention of cherri. "She wouldn't know good music if I hit her in the head with a record player but each to their own I suppose after all she is your friend." Even if didn't like her, she was important to Angel and that was her saving grace.

"Yes, is that so hard to believe?" He asks with a wink as he frees his face from Angel's hand by taking Angle's gloved hands into his own. "I know a few songs,  Vera Lynn wasn't so bad."

he clicked his tongue and gave a snicker, arms shifting just enough to poke gently at alastor’s side. ❛ what, ya still don’t trust cherri’s taste in music? i mean, sure, half of it sounds like a toaster fightin’ for its life, but c’mon, some of it slaps. ❜

he snorted with laughter, barely containing himself, though he softened a second later, the teasing dying down to something sweeter at the suggestion. ❛ you really wanna hear 'em smiles? could get real sentimental on ya. ❜
