ppl: Wow your course of study is so impractical, there are no jobs in that
me: Haha yeah I guess I care more about bettering myself as a person and studying something I actually care about that gives me a reason to get up in the morning than letting the grinding wheels of capitalism crush my soul lol :)
ppl: what
me: what

Plot twist: they’re not attention seeking, they’re support seeking. Because they’re going through a really rough time right now and support can really help a person.

recently it has come to my attention that you are not all grocery shopping with your friends. you should grocery shop with your friends. it is fun and it counts as socializing and you can all get excited about buying eggs together. thank you for reading my post about grocery shopping with your friends.

how i deep condition my disgustingly damaged hair
ok so while we’re on the topic of hair, i get a lot of questions about how i deep condition my hair so i made a post about it
lil background on my hair: I’ve been bleaching and dying my hair frequently for 6 years at home, and over time this completely fucked up my hair to the point where it was stretchy when wet, takes hours to dry despite how short it is, and was extremely easily breakable.
now i’m planning on going to the salon within the next week or two to get my hair bleached and dyed a light pink color 1. because i do not trust myself with my hair anymore after the hell i’ve put it through 2. the salon i’m going to has olaplex which is a salon only product that prevents the damage of bleach on hair when mixed into the bleach. so, now onto how i got my hair to the point where i can bleach and dye it again without fearing 4 my life:
for 2 months i left my hair black and did no chemical processing and deep conditioned heavily. i don’t use store bought deep conditioners anymore because none of the many i’ve used work as well as the one i make myself, which is a 1:1 ratio of any regular conditioner and coconut oil. the reason why i use coconut oil is because it’s one of the only hair-safe oils that has particles small enough to actually penetrate your hair as opposed to just sitting on top of your hair. lots of people use just coconut oil by itself, but i find that using something thicker (conditioner mixed in really helps it stick to my hair and helps my hair absorb the coconut oil. i leave this in for 2-3 hours twice a week, and then i wash it out in the shower and use wen cleansing conditioner to make sure there’s no oil residue sitting on my hair but just washing with shampoo and conditioning as usual does the same thing.
after about 2 sessions with this i noticed my hair was already a lot stronger and stopped flaking off in little pieces when it was dry. so if ur hair is hella fucked like mine was i really recommend it.
so basically moral of the story is: don’t bleach and dye your hair a lot especially if you’re young like me because it’s very very hard to repair and your hair will never be the same after damaging it.
