We need pirates back. Like not the criminal aspect but just people exploring the sea and adventuring. I'd go as far as to say we need a great pirate era cause that would be so cool like no criminals just some whimsical adults sailing the 7 seas and having fun adventures. Just thinkin' about how the writers of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy made the very specific, conscious decision to express the idea that the ultimate expression of love is to uphold the other individual's freedom, and contrasted purposefully Davy Jones and Calypso's treatment of each other with the ways and degrees the other leads' relationships--especially Elizabeth and her love interests--illustrate that concept.

Lately Jack and Syrena have been VERY alive in my mind. I just have no time and no laptop to write on right now :(((

So… I don’t know. I’m toying with just writing through mobile. But I don’t love it, because if won’t be pretty, I won’t have gifs, and it’ll be much harder for me to keep track of things when I am here.

But my inner pirate is DYING to come out, and same with the inner mermaid.
