If you are going to the DMV to get your license renewed, replaced, or altered the fee is $80.50 (currently). What most people don’t know is that included in that fee is the option to take a new picture. So if you are someone who isn’t happy with their current picture, while you’re there, might as well update your picture as well.

Jerich Marco Alcantara had left his home in Queens in the hopes of making it in time for his graduation ceremony. However, as a result of an emergency brake malfunction, the E-Train he was riding in had been delayed. Jerich and his friend staged an impromptu ceremony with the other straphangers acting as the guests in attendance. What looked to be a bad memory became something extraordinary.

Name: Di’Fara Pizza Location: 1424 Avenue J, Brooklyn, NY 11230 Price: $5 per regular slice, $6 per square/Sicilian slice, $30 for a regular pie
In terms of pizza, this place has been long-viewed as one of the best. According to Mayor Bill de Blasio, it is THE best. To this day, the pizza is still made with the freshest ingredients which you immediately taste on the initial bite. Make sure to consume some fresh basil in the initial bite, it really puts it over the top. For best taste, avoid take out, you should dine-in and eat.
Despite the long-hours of standing, Mr. Domenico Demarco aka Dom is still the one making the pies. Also, the place is easily accessible by train, it is less than a block away from the Ave J Station (Q Train).

Disposing of cooking grease down the drain is the #1 cause of sewage backup in New York City.
Tip: The proper way to deal with it is cool it to room temperature, put it in a container and dispose of it through the trash

During the 90′s after Prince had inked a new deal with Warner Bros. he became fed up with the company refusing to release his songs right away. Prince wanted the public to have access to his music as soon as it was complete. Warner Bros. feared at the rate Prince was making new music it may be detrimental to his popularity and saturate the market for his music. Hence why they had a schedule for releasing his music.
As an act of rebellion, he changed his name from Prince to the symbol featured above. It was his way of protesting against Warner Bros. because the name "Prince” was tied to the company. Which led to him always being introduced as “the artist formerly known as Prince” because his symbol did not have a formal name.
However, from 2000 onwards he began to once again perform under the stage-name, Prince.

Name: High Line Park Location: 515 W 23rd St (follow the steps to go up to the park) Price: FREE
A fresh concept of a park in that is located above the city atmosphere. Built on top of abandoned train tracks, the park has a multitude of nice views of various parts of New York City. There are quite a few works of art that are worth checking out as well. Furthermore, there are always events going on, especially during the Spring and Fall. You can check those events out over here
Keep in mind, hours vary depending on the season. Fall and Winter hours have earlier closings; Spring and Summer hours tend to be open a lot longer.
