owo, what’s this? i actually drew sky diamond for once? and she has a regeneration? wow !! so what actually happened?

basically sky got into a big ol’ argument with white diamond and as punishment, white destroyed her limb enhancers and form stabilizer. as such, sky poofed really fast. it was actually yellow diamond who found her gemstone and made her a new stabilizer (the dark line around her gemstone).

the new stabilizer not only holds her form together, but it allows her telekinesis as a replacement for her fingers.

sky’s pretty upset with homeworld right now. she’s also definitely plotting... something. she hasn’t told anyone anything yet.

Introducing Carbon’s version of Pink Diamond! Rather than a more feminine look I decided to go with something more militant since all the gems we’ve seen of her court are Quartz soldiers and I headcanon that she used to be in charge of the military. Also to me it just makes her less of a victim.

Mara, Kaelah’s seeing eye aquamarine. Mara corrupted naturally (so, like a serious computer glitch), unlike the corrupted gems of Earth. Few gems are aware of what Mara and Kaelah’s actual relationship was before the corruption, though they definitely close. Mara is about the size of a housecat, and acts a lot like one.

Kaelah, the cubic zirconia! She’s the overseer of planet Kaelor from the Sky Court. Kaelah is extremely defective, she has no eyes or mouth, and she just kinda floats off the ground. She communicates through either telepathy, but her preferred method is changing color to emote and blinking (like morse code). Not pictured here is her corrupted aquamarine who she uses as her eyes (like Kova is to Narti in Voltron). She’s fifteen feet tall.

Kaelah is second in command only to Sky Diamond, and shares this rank with cubic zirconias Minnie and Tylia. She’s kinda lonely and wants to spend time with people but her size and general defects tend to turn people away from her.

Huh? What’s this? Oh, here’s just my designs for some White Diamond X Yellow Diamond gemlings (but as adults because their gemling design isn’t actually finalized whoops). I plan on writing a fic with them. They do have siblings.. but one is dead (it’s not Pink guys) and the others are in the future in their timeline. These three are all the same age. 

On the left, we have Orange Diamond, the tallest of the bunch. She stands at about equal with Mama White, and is the most mature of the three. She’s adopted four planets from her moms and has started colonizing another. While to the homeworld public she looks like a perfect diamond, cold and rational, Orange is constantly dealing with anxiety that she’s learned how to manage. Orange has telepathy and pyrokinesis like Mama White and takes a lot after her. She’s slightly self conscious about her gem placement because it kinda makes her look stupid and Grey teases her endlessly. 

In the middle is Sunshine Yellow Diamond. White and Yellow couldn’t just call her Yellow Diamond II, because that would get confusing fast, so White called her Sunshine and it just kinda stuck. Of course, Sunshine is the kind of gem who’s really just done with everything. Mom Yellow often sends her to fill in when she can’t show up to things. It’s really irritating because Sunshine is a complete social wreck and is far better behind a computer than in front of a crowd. She’s a genius programmer and is known for hacking into her mothers’ systems and ah, borrowing, files. Just leave her alone and you’ll be fine. She’s as tall as Yellow Diamond in heels.

And on the right is Grey Diamond, the smallest and least productive. Thanks to unrealistic expectations from her moms, she’s decided she’s not going to do anything remotely useful because why bother if you aren’t going to get it right? She’s really lazy and nobody really listens to her. However, she’s actually really smart and good at twisting people’s words. When she was younger she’d torture Orange mercilessly because what else are little sisters for? Also, she really doesn’t care for politics and would be the most likely to listen to the Crystal Gems.

First up is General Milky Quartz of the Sky Court. She’s kinda done and is a huge introvert, but is really good at being in charge when she needs to be.

Then we have Partly Cloudy Lapis Lazuli of the Sky Court, and her components Stormy and Sunny Lapis Lazuli. While she’s a terraformer, Partly Cloudy is also an excellent seamstress and is the one people go to to make things like that. Also, she’s a realist. Stormy is off color, missing a leg, and short, but she’s bubbly and optimistic and oblivious. Sunny on the other hand is perfect and a very observant cynic.

Finally, we have Isadora White Diamond, or just Isadora. She was designed by @myotishia / @askblackdiamond . She basically runs a cult that keeps eldritch horrors at bay and is very calm - most of the time.

Day 10 - Fusion (Fan or Canon) I went with the fan fusion route, and fused my favorites, Morganite and White Diamond. Their fusion Taaffetite, nicknamed Taffy by Blue, most likely fused to protect an exhausted Hema. On the battlefield, Taffy is an extremely deadly and terrifying fighter, considering she's made up of two of the scariest fighters in canon. Outside of the battlefield, Taffy is calm, gives good advice, and is fairly responsible. She's like a mom who while you're out and about is extremely responsible but gives you an ice cream sundae before bed. Taffy is also extremely particular about her drinks. Extremely.

Sky Diamond got a new ref! 

There’s a few minor design tweaks, and she looks much older now, which is nice. Less like a little kid. I’m really happy with the way this went!
