He looked weary, uncertain, and had a hint of disdain in his eyes. 

Carlos would never leave Lando, it seemed painfully obvious to Charles now.

Carlos lived, breathed, ate, slept, and bled for the comfort of Lando Norris. 

But most importantly, they were both deeply in love and insanely devoted to each other. 

How could Charles ever begin to have a connection with Carlos, or anyone for that matter, like Lando does?

Charles got the message.

With tears in his eyes, he turned his back on the couple and quickly fled. 

He couldn’t be in a room with either of them for any longer.
