Rhythms Flow -195 x130 acrylic sur toile 2012-Paris.  « Rythmic Flow »2012  Cette série de toiles intitulée « Rythmic Flow » constitue la dernière série en date d’un ensemble progressif débuté en 2004 par Carlos Cabeza avec « Cosmic Boogie Boogie », complété en 2010 par « Rythmic painting » et en 2011 par « Conscious painting » .  Ces différentes périodes se caractérisent par un « état » de peindre particulier dans lequel se plonge l’artiste. Un rituel pendant lequel il s’immerge totalement dans le plaisir de peindre et où ses gestes et ses pensées se succèdent sans pause, à la manière de l’écriture automatique. Saisi par une dynamique quasi mystique, il retrouve dans cet « état » un sentiment juvénile qui s’exprime comme un flow de bonheur. Impliqué corps et âme dans ce processus, le peintre projette alors l’intégrité de son être sur la toile dans une forme d’écoulement qui catalyse son état émotionnel. « On ressent un feedback immédiat quand cette expérience est concentrée sur nos états internes » révèle le peintre, qui précise : « C’est seulement une fois le travail achevé, que l’on a le temps de regarder en arrière et que rempli de gratitude, on peut rétrospectivement dire que l’on a vécu une expérience de flow.
