Carmen was slightly shocked at his bossy behavior, towards her.

She grew up rather shelter and only knew the kindness of her coven.

So she was only able to stare at him flabbergasted at first

After a while she managed to regain her composure and suddenly remembered, that Karlheinz's told her, the only commands she was supposed to listen to was his, or the first borns.

So she let him talk, suddenly feeling something she hasn't felt, ever since her first Life. Irritation.

She also felt sorry for him, in her eyes he was one of the younger brothers desperately trying to look older, "more put together"

She couldn't help but find him somewhat pathetic

So she listened to him ordering her around with a slight pity smile on her Face.

When he was done she spoke

"Okay, yes I do would like to remind you that your not Karlheinz or the first born. So I don't have to take any orders from you"

She stated her facade remaining neutral

"Also Karlheinz's told me he pays for the monthly payments on this house soo, he'll be the one "feading another mouth that does nothing", and apparently he seemed fine with that"

She finished speaking with a faked sweet smile

"I mean your always welcome to try and suck my blood, though don't blame me for the outcome"

She knew exactly if he tried taking her blood without her permission, she would burn off his tounge, without even sweating.

She has never been bitten by a Vampire and she intended it to stay that way, however a secret part of her was curious, on how it would feel, not that she would ever tell.

Carmen took a deep breath as she took in her surroundings.

She was in an old building, no, more like a mansion, the air here felt strange and somewhat too overwhelming.

There was a strong energy here.

'This place has a history and if my instincts are right it isn't a good one' she thought, concerned.

She has been walking around for about an hour, trying to find some sign of life here.

She knew that they were probably still busy introducing themselves to Yui, that's what he said was the girls name,but she couldn't help but feel impatient.

She was just about to turn around, when she head on bumped into a man.

She instinctively put her hands on his chest, to keep herself from falling.

Infront of her stood a tall dark stranger, thats the best way she could think of describing him.

He was beautiful in a haunting sort of way. 'That's exactly how mom described them'

She immediately removed her hand from his chest and took a step back.

"Merlin, I'm sorry, I didn't see you" she said softly, smiling slightly.

She once again, took this appearance in. He was tall, his dark hair slightly falling over his glasses.

The suit he was wearing was spotless

'he looks like a painting from an artist with serious OCD' she thought, amused.

"I'm Carmen, you must be one of Karlheinz sons. It a please to meet you" she halted for a bit contemplating whether to shake his hand or bow. She decided for latter.

"You must think I'm so rude" she exclaimed embarrassed.

She slightly soothed her skirt, suddenly worried she looked messy from the flight.

"I have been here for a while, I just thought It be rude to disturb"

Her mind immediately drifted towards Yui

"She has arrived already, yes?"

There was a familiar presence in the mansion while he was busy introducing. Of course, the introduction just had to turn chaotic from the triplets. In the break, he searched the source of the presenceー only to find a young lady. Just as he was about to reach out to her, she suddenly turned around, resulting in him holding her up. Though he doesn't find such impression pleasant.

“It's Reiji. Reiji Sakamaki. Do not compare to lowly wizards”

Taking the nickname 'Merlin' personally. However, he'll keep a gentleman profile as of now. Standing tall as he fixes his coat: the wrinkles from catching her. The white gloves to contrast to the dark suit he was wearingー though she had a completely different feel of aesthetic. Just as the girl earlier, bright and soft light waiting to be tained.

“You must be quite an important person to adress my father lightly. A pleasure to meet you, Carmen”, having his significant scowl on his face, he continued, “Indeed you are. To not report right away or even alert us that you'd be arrivingー matter not. Yes, she is here. Though she is in quite a mess”

“If I may ask you, are you also of the same role as her in this household?”

The only reason I ship these two is because of the comedy show these two would be. Always arguing, always fighting and bickering, never admitting each other feelings. Like an old married couple.

Carmen's first love

Her name was Amara

Her skin was soft as silk, but her mind strong as steel

She wasn't born into the coven, but she still found her way to them, to her

She was a mystery, to everyone, even to herself

The first time Carmen saw her she forgot how to breathe.

Her aura was as soft as water lillies, her hair as white as the clouds she spent years, worshipping in her youth.

She was the embodiment of life, of love.

She doesn't remember the process of falling in love with her.

It seemed as though she has spent her entire life, knowing her, worshipping her, loving her.

But the voices in her head knew, that it was a temporary pleasure, too good to be true.

She was wild and free, not meant to be chained down to a place, or a person.

Still, the summer spend with her felt like a beautiful dream, one she prayed, she could replay in her head, everytime she closed her eyes.

Summer spend tangled in white silk, feet touching, fingers fumbling.

Her love was as gentle as a summer breeze, her eyes burning, seeing right through her fears, through the knot in her heart, the ever present feeling of being scared. Scared of being alive.

Hours spend studying each other bodies.

Every beauty mark, every scar, every perfect little imperfection.

Then one day she was gone. No note. Just the memory of her lips on her neck and her soft hands, tracing the line of her back

When Carmen looks back to that summer she does so in an adoring manner. She's not angry or sad, she's more confused, conflicted.

Sometimes she thinks, she has imagined her.

Or that maybe all of these memories were part of, a very long dream.

But she still vividly remembers her white Hair, resting between her fingers. And the smell of something herbal, lingering in her bedsheets and suddenly she's fine with not knowing.

She nodded and listened to him, when he brought up the witches thing, she gave him a cheeky look

"Well I promise, I won't be up to anything bad. You won't even know I'm here" she promised, her tone still rather playful

"I'm just here to make sure the poor girl doesn't die. Otherwise I pretty much keep to myself"

When he mentioned school she couldn't help but let out a small noise of excitement.

"Oh yes! I was informed of that. I actually never went to a real school before, so I guess that's gonna be interesting. Any tips for me? any rules? Also when do you go? I like to wake up a couple of hours before"

She asked the excitement clear in her soft voice

"Oh i do would like to talk to Yui before I rest. Poor girl must be so puzzled. I mean I'm guessing she didn't know anything until now?"

Carmen exhaled concerned.

"Gosh i should probably brew something up for her, make sure she gets enough sleep tonight"

Carmen looked at reiji again and frowned

"Would you be so kind to point me to her room? I'm sure, your exhausted as well, with all that crazy energy in the air"

She turned so she was facing him now

"If you could just point me in the direction of her room, that would be perfect. You can go ahead and rest then, you seem exhausted. I'll somehow find the way to my room on my own"
