The Frozen Land [ Semi Lit-Lit Group Roleplay]

Moonlight lay over the snow, creating sparkles that almost competed with the stars. The sky was clear for the first time in days. Perhaps a promise of thawing elsewhere, but not here. The cats that lived in the thick spruce forest were doomed to an eternal cold.

Snow crunched under paw as two fluffy black and white cats left the cover of the trees on opposite sides, entering the clearing. If it weren’t for the difference in eye color the two would be impossible to set apart. They met in the middle, eyes bright and a purr in their throats. “It’s about time we can meet. I feel like it’s been moons.” The yellow eyed she-cat chirped.

“It has.” The other she-cat agreed. Blinking her blue eyes slowly, she leaned forward and gave the slightly smaller cat a lick between the ears. “I missed you, little sister.”

Two clans, Hollyclan and Springclan, ruled by two sisters and both residing in a frozen forest. Together they keep peace in their land. Little do they know, the clans they rule once did something no cat would speak of.

What now is two used to be four. Many moons ago the others were chased out of the snowy territory and banished. Believed to have frozen to death, the exiled clans survived and formed into one. The exhausted cats found refuge in a cavern where they live to this day. No longer do they accept the ways of the cats that left them to die.

But, how long can they really survive in the dark? Kept warm only by the heat of anger passed down generations through stories.

❄️ Springclan❄️

Springclan is led by the quiet and noble Clearstar. Most of the cats in Springclan are large and strong. Defense is very important because of the lack of camp barrier. In the middle of the are camp two small hot springs always guarded by at least two warriors. Here, stones are heated in the springs and brought into dens once hot enough to keep cats warm. Cats from the neighboring clan are allowed entry only to the springs in exchange for herbs.

❄️ Hollyclan ❄️

Led by the bright spirited Amberstar. The cats of Hollyclan are taught about herbs from almost the moment they open their eyes. In a land so cold finding them is difficult and each day apprentices are sent out to scout. Small herb gardens are grown in the center of the clearing each spring when there isn’t much snow. In the evening all the cats gather to tend to the herbs and converse. Extra herbs are sent to her sister’s clan in exchange for use of the springs.

Frosttuft- A thick furred white tom with orange eyes. He has longer ears and a few battle scars.

🦇 Cats Of The Caverns 🦇

Cats that have lived in caverns,caves, and tunnels for years. They have adapted to never seeing the light of day. The only time they ever dare to emerge from their caverns is at night.

The Sharing Stones

The main part of the cavern. Here cats share bugs and small prey as well as share tongues. Stalactites and stalagmites fill the area, dripping down water into small puddles for drinking.

The Cave Of Lights

A large cave cats are only able to enter by squeezing through a small tunnel. Glow worms hang from the roof, filling the area with a dim light. Meetings are held here. Smaller tunnels lead off into smaller caves in four areas.

Healing Tunnels

The tunnels connected to the cave of lights. Each tunnel ends in its own small cave. Sick and injured cats rest there.

Resting Place

Several ledges above the sharing stones. Tired cats can jump from ledge to ledge and find moss filled nests to sleep in.
