Things people often get wrong when drawing Pleakley

(This is not a vaguepost! This relates to dozens of drawings of Pleakley by dozens of different artists that I've seen over the span of many months! I thought I'd share this info to help others.)

Pleakley's legs are shorter than you think. However short you're imagining them to be, they're shorter than that. Giving Pleakley long legs is the #1 error I see in Pleakley art. Hell, even the live action Lilo and Stitch made this error.

Pleakley's blood is not red, Pleakley should not be blushing pink! Pleakley's blood is green and purple. Yes, both colors, no, I don't know how it works. Either one of these colors works for Pleakley's blush, but not pink.

Pleakley's skin is not green. Instead, it's a very desaturated goldenrod-yellow color.

Pleakley's eye does not have an iris. It is just the sclera and the pupil.

an interesting linguistics find! so I'm reading this text from 1908 and it keeps referencing "hp" in the context of "not being at full hp" "applying your full hp to a task" etc

and I'm like....... okay that is a perfectly normal way to describe energy and reads totally clear to me, but I KNOW you don't mean hit points/health points which is the first place my brain goes, so what are YOU using hp to mean

and it's not explained in-text, which means it was common enough to not warrant explanation to the 1908 audience, so gotta look elsewhere

and I'm absolutely FASCINATED that a commonly used initialism from 1908 now stands for something different AND YET the contextual meaning is still the same to a 21st-century reader

My own take on genderswapped Jumba and Pleakley

You may notice how Jumba in particular is mostly the same, her outfit slightly modified and that's the biggest change, she's still bald (because Jumba's baldness isn't natural and was caused by an experiment, thus she'd still be bald), and kinda similar for Pleakley, she's just more masculine (dresses up as an Earth man instead) and has a head of hair (in canon both Pleakley's sister and mom have hair)

This also partially comes from me preferring genderbends that don't change all too much about characters lol
