Little Eric here is confused

They made something to him that hurts, but he doesn’t know what

They make him say stuff, he is confused

But also proud because he is making something right

Then they make him say something unappropriated, so he looks for consent from his mom

Him mom tells him to go on

And he happily does what he is told, thinking he is doing it  right

But gets hurt

They order him to say more stuff, but he won’t

And keeps gettin hurt while nobody gives it atention

I’m bad at writting character analysis, but I think this could help

Tbh, I don’t think anyone in the fandom treats Kyle’s feelings for Cartman well. Like, it’s always to one extreme (kyman) or another (complete hatred) and I don’t think it’s as simple as that. 

No one ever considers the fact that Kyle might outwardly say he is not affected by Cartman’s antisemitism but he can actually be filled by a lot of self hatred because of it. I can imagine Kyle growing up and moving to a big city like New York and roll his eyes when the Jewish people in these cities act “too” Jewish, if you will. It’s exactly how he reacts to his cousin Kyle, with annoyance and worry and a desire to not associate with him. This aversion to overly Jewish traits didn’t come out of nowhere, it came because of Cartman. It’s not overt self hatred, but it’s a desire to try to make himself appear as the right kind of Jewish as opposed to the overt kind. This subtle self hatred also appears with his obvious displeasure in his own curly hair, and in The List he was offended when it was implied he had his mother’s (I think it was hers) nose, since she’s drawn with a more prominent (read: Jewish) nose than any of the other adults on the show. He’s offended and hates his own Jewish features. Again, this doesn’t come out of nowhere, this comes out of Cartman chipping away at him for years. 

Kyle is definitely someone who also believes he’s above Cartman’s shit, and he would never admit to himself or anyone that any of Cartman’s taunting has affected him in any real or meaningful way. I don’t even think Kyle would acknowledge his aversion to overt Jewish traits as a bad thing, but rather as a measure to blend in that he’s chosen to do on his own. Because of this, I don’t think Kyle would ever truly hate Cartman with such a passion he tries to cut off all contact with him, or whatever the kids head canon these days. I think there have been enough instances where Kyle and Cartman have been able to successfully work together and I think Kyle would value this and value Cartman’s friendship to a certain extent. I personally believe Cartman chills out as he gets older, and in this scenario Kyle would be able to forgive and disregard Cartman’s childhood antisemitism and merely childhood taunts, but the damage has been done and unless Kyle realizes there’s damage in the first place (which I don’t think he would), then he’ll never seek out help or attempt to unlearn his self hatred. (So one could argue that Cartman’s antisemitism is even more insidious since Kyle is being seriously affected, but he’s so use to it he thinks he’s alright.)

Long story short, Cartman and Kyle have a complicated relationship that can’t be boiled down to as love or as hatred, and it’s p boring when people try to simplify it. Cartman is a toxic person for Kyle but Kyle still finds some fruitfulness in their friendship. Ironically Cartman said it best in Casa Bonita, they may not be friends, but they’ve been through a lot together, so that certainly makes them something.

I wish for one day everyone in this fandom would respect each other. I wish everyone would say nice things to each other and stop fighting about which pairing is abusive or annoying. I’m so tired of all this hate. Aren’t you guys tired too?

canon ≠ required

ships are good! 

but dont let one ship take over the entire fandom when there are loads of others that can be explored. just because one ship is canon or popular? great! but still keep your mind open to other possibilities and fan produced content. dont let one representation of a character rule your thoughts. become a well-rounded fan instead of focusing in on one concept. 

youll have more fun that way, and youll have way more possibilities for things to create and enjoy!

the whole point of fandom is to think of things that happen in canon, sure, but also to think of things that could have happened. take on new concepts and points of views, look at things from another perspective. gatekeeping and policing fandoms are the things that make it less fun for everyone (including yourself).

expand your horizons and stop fucking with other people.

Gotham Dream

So I’ve been wanting to have a dream with Ozzy and my wish came true, sort of

After leaving Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends I went looking for Pengy and met Riddler at I guess was a Dentist office. He warned me that I would most likely end up being stabbed by Penguin but I wasn’t worried since I could create FIRE(It was a rather pathetic spark actually) And to further prove I could handle myself I had the ability to turn off the lights in the dentist room.(which is a rather lame power) I left the dentist and Riddler has teleporting powers since he was now in a new location popping his head out of his apartment looking excited as he thought I knew where Ozzy was even though he should knew I didn’t. Later I saw my parents van which for some reason Ozzy dropped my parents off at home in it I was just glad he didn’t kill them.  Now that I knew where he was I found him in our van all teary eyed and crying(probably cause Riddler tried to kill him) I hug him and it’s all nice and stuff were getting along BUT I said the wrong thing and he stabbed me! I sort of felt betrayed but not enough to not show him Riddlers location. I think he went in there to make up with him or something. Moral of the dream always listen to insane geniuses

Another dream I had I saw Cartman was upset about something in school and asked what was wrong. I don’t remember what he said I just remember leaving due to fear even dream me knows he’s a scary kid.

In terms of shipping Kyle and Heidi I mostly do it in a setting where it’s a poly relationship with Eric. I want Kyle and heidi to be friends cause I think they’d have great interactions
