THE MOON GM-2100MG Made in Thailand

The Moon: G-Shock GM-2100MG-1A. This unique stainless steel-covered model was just revealed in China, and it is also expected to be released worldwide (US: GM2100MG-1A, $300). It is CASED IN THAILAND but market in China.

The GM-2100MG-1A has a gold ion plated bezel with a moon-like surface. The vapor-filmed dial also resembles the moon, and the watch has a unique moon case back with gold IP. It appears that the surface of the bezel has a 3D texture to depict the rugged surface and craters of the moon, and that probably explains the higher price in comparison to other GA-2100. However G-SHOCK never been to the moon.

Do we love the Casio G-Shock GA-2100 or known to fans as the "CasiOak" Well, it has now been improved? In May 202, the new inclusion of the brand's Tough Solar technology takes the fashionable GA-2100 watches to a new level and the best part is, even with these premium features, the CasiOak is still cheap some cheap than the original GA-2100. In any G-Shock watch, there are a couple of features worth looking for the GA-B2100 (a "B" has been added to the name) has Bluetooth and solar. With G-Shocks we always recommend paying extra for models with Tough Solar. This is Casio's name for its light-charging tech (it works with any light) that should keep your watch running without the need for a battery change for decades. The old GA-2100 series without solar charging was just a fashion item with a three-year battery life; now, it is a serious G-Shock. In addition to Tough Solar, the new watches also offer a Bluetooth connection for even more features via a smartphone link; this does not make it a full-blown smartwatch with notifications and the like, but it does offer some handy features like "Find My Phone." It also has feature like Casio's Carbon Core Guard, a carbon structure within the plastic case that helps increase general durability. First introduced in 2019, the GA-2100 was an unexpected smash hit. Though not quite at the same level of, say, the crazy “MoonSwatch”, these ordinary plastic watches sold out and became popular items. That got something to do with their resemblance to other octagonal watch icons like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, from which it derives its playful nickname, the CasiOak. These are the slim, interesting-looking GA-2100 watches that took the world by storm but better. The upgrades will be available in five different colour versions of the GA-B2100 in May 2022.
