Hello! I made a new game for Ludum Dare 57 called "Continental Shelf."
In this game you move blocks around to try to let all the fish find each other, without getting eaten by a shark. Please enjoy!

Glow-up for some of the earliest sprites I drew for this game. I think after two years of practice I'm finally learning how to draw people...

Hey, check out my game for Ludum Dare 56!
It's called "Mini Beasts" -- a puzzle game featuring bugs, snails, and frogs. Each little critter has a different movement pattern, and you have to use their abilities together to put them all in the right place.

And now we have collectable gems! They stay collected when you move between maps. Now we're complete on mechanics -- time to start thinking about level design.

We now have doors so that you can go from one level to another. Getting very close to having the gameplay complete here and being able to move on to level design...

Game is becoming more game..... added these eye tiles which are triggered by the cat's laser beam and turn on/off these other symbol blocks...
Now we are almost mechanics-complete, but not quite. There's still some weirdness to work out with these eyes, and then I have to add connections between levels and an actual goal for the character. I have a plan, though.

After a significant chunk of work with lots of annoying bugs squashed, we now have pushable boxes in all three flavors: transparent, solid, and reflective.
We also have a fancy dynamic 'shiny' effect which I think works quite nicely.
