Liek so many g/t fics use the borrowers world building as a base like. What would be peoples go to g/t situation to put their faves in if the book was never written?

Too many ‘normal’ people in g/t stories I think.

Give me a germaphobe human that loses their mind finding out a borrower has committed the ultimate sin (walked on their counter)

Give me deaf borrower who thinks their being quiet while borrowing, and the human just plays along, pretending they don’t hear all the noise they’re making

Give me autistic giant who holds a human captive simply so they have someone to infodump to

Give me human with visual and auditory hallucinations that just thinks the little guy they’ve seen running around their house is a hallucination

This isn’t even mostly about representation, I just think applying these to the g/t dynamic makes an even more interesting dynamic

This is so real. Best thing about g/t art is how small the community is, and you know all of the art posted was made because they genuinely love the dynamic and trope of g/t. We do not need soulless g/t art. If someone didn’t dump out their heart and soul making art about how they feel small and insignificant in the world, but there’s this one person who feels so big and amazing to them, that somehow can care for someone so meaningless as them, THEN I DONT WANT IT!

Being loomed over. Receiving little flirty comments from someone a hundred times your size. Your difference in size and power is nearly indescribable - you can barely comprehend how large they must be even as you look at them. Their voice comes out as a low rumble, their body moving slower than normal due to the dilation of time caused by their size (or, perhaps, your size), and as their hand reaches down towards you impossibly slowly, you still cant escape it, in all of its vastness. A finger taller than you are poking you in the stomach and causing you to nearly topple over. The larger is on another plane of existence, in a way. But as they look down at you with such infatuation, regardless of your survival instinct telling you to run, your pounding heart, and your trembling form, you feel oddly safe. Its nice to be doted on a little. To be observed by eyes larger than your torso. To be treated gently by something that could crush you like a bug. To be loved by something beyond comprehension. Erm. Yeah.
