IDK why you're so mad at YouTube. They already have your information so it's literally nothing new.

I'm gonna keep this VERY simple.

Google/YT knows my name is Jim Halpert. They know I live in Scranton, PA... but you know what they DON'T know? My ID number. (License number if you have a license) The number on every single ID or license.

THAT VERY TOP line of random numbers... that's the real you. That number is attached to every single aspect of your life and if ANYONE knows that they can access every part of your life. It's attached to your bank account, credit, your house, your car... you. If someone else has access to that number, they can take money from your bank account. They could impersonate you and completely ruin your life. They could sign up for 100 things, they could get you put in jail for crimes you didn't commit with a fake ID with YOUR number. There's a reason people tell you to keep these things to yourself. Losing your wallet is already a risk but a huge company who constantly has data breaches... now that's just stupid.

Survey about DNIs

Hey everyone. Something I've noticed a HUGE rise in lately is the presence of "Basic DNI", both within and outside of the MOGAI community. I have always found this interesting, as it seems like people have differing ideas about what "Basic DNI" means, but I've never been able to find proof either for or against this - so I'm finding the proof myself.

This is a very short survey, only 2 questions, that you should be able to complete in just a few minutes. Please take the time to take it and send this post to anyone you feel would also be willing to take it, for a large sample size.

one time I told my partner rather shamefully that I had stretchmarks on my thighs only because after showering i saw them so much more (they were way darker. dunno the science behind that). Her response was to get really excited and say "I LOVE stretchmarks they look like LIGHTNING"

Switch as many of your accounts off Gmail as you Can

Google is slowly Implementing ID checks for all their services, including your GMail and the basic search function, so uh. Better late than never! Time to move stuff you care about off GMail if it was on there.

You can move Twitch Accounts, Pinterest Accounts, Tumblr Accounts and your AO3 accounts off GMail using the Change Email function. Those are ones I know about for now, but I assume many other sites and apps allow you to do the same thing or something similar.

Go forth and save as much as you can! Switch to Yahoo, switch to ProtonMail! ProtonMail is very focused on your privacy and has a free tier (only one email account and limited space). Other tiers offer more space and more services, but do whatever you can! Snag Proton VPN while you're at it if you're able to.

And stay safe, don't give out your ID to ANYTHING, dont give your credit card to ANYTHING. Use fake selfies and fake Ids where you can.

Things you can watch/do instead of YouTube, For those who may have trouble finding things to do.

1. Internet Archive. Has plenty of videos to watch, plenty of games you can play that are emulated right on the website. You can also find entire collections of roms. For emulators, check out Emulation General Wiki to find the best emulator for the system you want to emulate.

2. r/piracy has a wiki full of safe places to read comics and manga, to watch anime and cartoons, and to watch movies.

3. Virtualbox, you can set up a Windows XP virtual box and get old PC games from Internet Archive. You can also check out CD Game World if you need a no-cd patch.

4. Saltybet. A Livestream of MUGEN with thousands of characters fighting against each other, sometimes things get hilarious. Runs 24/7.

5. The Cutting Room Floor, spend hours reading up on cut content from your favorite games.

6. Lost Media Wiki, read up on lost movie, books, animation, video games, etc.

7. Neocities, learn coding and make your own website!

8. WebDSR, explore shortband radio

9. Radio Garden, listen to radio stations from around the world

10. Every Noise At Once, explore the widest archive of music genres, with samples and Spotify playlists

11. My Retro TV, pick and era and watch popular television from that time period

It's crazy to me that Disney removed Cobra Bubbles because a 6 foot burly tattooed black guy isn't a "believable social worker"

Disney, lemme tell ya something. Past the racist part of that (WILD they were so open about it) even if race wasn't part of this, KIDS WOULDNT FEAR COBRA BUBBLES! THEY REALLY DONT!

Oftentimes, children look for who is safe to be around, and they flock to the most intimidating looking person for that. (That's why everyones got that one grandpa that's grumpy 24/7 yet all the little relatives sit on his knee)

A social worker makes perfect sense for him. When children feel like someone "scary" is on their side, it can help give them courage to stand up to issues they face. Don't believe me? Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) use this tactic to help child victims testify in court against their guardians. Link to that below:

So I find it entirely believable that Cobra Bubbles would make a great social worker, because children would feel protected by him, and he is VERY good with kids. Sorry Disney, but I feel like there's only one real reason you kicked him from the reboot, and it's not because of his tattoos

HEYYYY TUMBLLR.....

so I did a thing.

Y'know how Tumblr and Ao3 got married? You know how it's a joke ship? Yeah so somehow my ADHD brain got so hyperfixated on it that somehow I made lore.

Basically, AO3 is known as archivist, but we'll call em AO3 for the sake of recognizability. AO3 was spawned in in this backrooms-like world that is his massive library of whatever-amount-of-books they said they had.

After they spawn in, they realize they have no memory of any past. The only thing they have is a bag and the orb of light that hangs above their head as a way to light up the area around them and see the fics. The orb of light isn't visible to other apps but others can see that light is emmited from the area surrounding AO3.

Anyways, enough about the light. The library is filled with "consumers" or "readers" but I think consumers sound scarier. We can call them readers when they acctually read.

When AO3 first comes across one of these "consumers" their first instinct is to protect themself by grabbing a book and threatening to hit the consumer.

However, instead of the consumer attacking AO3 like AO3 thought it would, AO3 discovers that the books-- or "fics" fascinate the consumers. The consumer, when faced with the fic, seemed to become much more docile.

Once the consumer comes in contact with the fic, the consumer turns into a more of a "character" which aligns with the fic. (Note: not any character from the fandom but just something that matches the fandoms world y'know what I mean? Like how people make personas yeah?)

How did AO3 know what the fic was about? Shhhh.... Don't question ao3. Maybe they mind read books.

Anywho, later, AO3 discovers that they were a bit off. In order to find keep the consumers/readers happy, he must find their fandoms fics and hand them some.

So, while doing this they're also on a search for an "everything fic" so they can keep themselves protected at all times, and keep the consumers satisfied until they find the right fic.

And yes.

They do find it.

Were pretending that exists for now because I don't know if it actually does. I don't think it does. But authors never fail to amaze me.

Anyways. When AO3 gets the hang of their job, they find that they enjoy doing it. They enjoy making these consumers-- no. readers-- happy. They enjoy making the readers happy.

And later on, after a long while, they stumble upon the edge of their library, and find that they can leave to other backrooms-like spaces. One being twitters.

Twitter though, in more current times, has been going through this-- corruption. It has AO3 and other apps concerned, and ready to distance themselves. But mostly, they miss who Twitter used to be, or atleast-- some of who they used to be.

Once AO3 enters, they stumble across someone already with Twitter. Someone... Familiar. Someone they feel like they know from somewhere, but they're not sure where...
