I loved the idea of how their bodies delt physical trauma and entanglement with the arcane, especially Viktor who is now both human and something else entirely.

Since some people have noticed the 3D models I use for Jayvik references and asked, I use clip studio paint!! I end up studying anatomy and drawing over everything regardless but its SO helpful when planning scenes and poses 🫶 More art processes below!!

studying and learning is really important to me so I have a huge ass Pinterest board with references 😅 But yeah if you end up using 3D models don't forget the fundamentals!!

For reference! This is how I build my artwork in general, I use masks for shading and typically I end up merging everything together and painting over it 🥰

also unrelated note but I love making Viktor look kind of scary/otherly which is why in the drawing on the left, he has no light in his eyes, almost dissociative, while in the second drawing, he comes to life!! Jayce always ends up filling him with emotion 😚

Goddammit, I wrote a whole long comment about your jayvik fic and only when it was done noticed it was one of those that didn't allow comments...but I don't want it to go to waste so here you go! Sorry about a lot of quotes...

I love this! Very in-character for Viktor! It's not natural and little awkward for him to talk about feelings but the writing isn't that!

“Viktor nods, losing himself in those bright golden eyes, amix with worry and resolve. The same ones he could have lost all that time ago, at the edge of the world with crazed potential of a brighter future hanging in the balance.” Losing himself quietly in Jayce's eyes..! 👏

“Viktor unconsciously lets out a breath of relief as he relaxes in the hold, which is now edging on awkwardly too long for his usual comfort, and yet not long enough for his nerves to untangle. “Okay Talis, don’t go too soft on me,” He chuckles, tapping lightly on the broad of Jayce’s back. “Any more weight on these bones of mine and I’ll take you down with me.” Snapping Jayce back to reality and prying his hands off the lighter man’s body.” Viktor relaxing only when Jayce says he will burn the letter and isn't edging too long for Viktor's usual comfort but yearning for it this whole fic (i love it). The little joke of Viktor falling over if Jayce leans closer into the hug is so sweet and Jayce snapping back to reality after getting lost in hugging Viktor is a thing that actually happens in show canon, I love it so much! :'D And gasp they're at the part of their relationship where Viktor calls him Talis, now I wonder would there be a sequel where that address changes to Jayce. x)

For Viktor saying "Talis", he does say Jayce's first name often, its more of a reminder of social standards and formalities of Piltover. Saying his last name is a more formal way of snapping Jayce back to reality, gently reminding him that hey, there are boundaries. (boundaries that they both want to cross mind you, but from their perspective, shouldn't)

I don't have a plan for a sequel as honestly, I don't really know where I would go from how it ends! It was just a think piece and my want to give more love to Jayce and his internal struggles!! But hey.. maybe I'll write another fic one day
