Remember the old pinball machine when it tilted. Are you trying to serve, while you are outvof whack.
https://youtube.com/shorts/4cHmoI0UQUU?si=ig_s-nb-WkrSj5UA God can give us this deep sense of level imbalance inside. It’s like having a gyroscope planted Within you. If you get out of balance you can sense it or know it with God’s relevant inspired touch. He wants his children to be people in the know. He wants us to sense when something is wrong and make decisions that move us in His perfect…

We are not as free as we think we are. Everybody must serve somebody....
https://youtube.com/shorts/l5a1XMU8V4s?si=AmMyX6xft1zIye_E We are shaped more than we know. We are shared by culture, background, ethnicity, Family, community & more. All have an influence on us. We must serve someone it seems and our capacity to choose is not unlimited. As a matter of fact, we’re pretty much limited to the choice of whom we will serve. But I believe that that choice is made…

My Father - John W. Carter Senior
104 years ago today, my father John Woodard Carter Senior was born. He was shot growing up in a hunting accident. Mass gangrene set in and nearly killed him. They would have taken his arm but they did not think he would survive. He did more with that twisted and gnarled arm than most men ever do with perfect ones. And somehow he still managed to get in the army and was in World War II. He…

Boy if you don't lie down - I'm going to lay you down. ;) lol
https://youtube.com/shorts/ZWliE5bJcao?si=YzI5QOwEVenBJYME Sometimes our hard-headed natures are not in our own good. And the most merciful thing that God can do for us is to cause us or “make us”, [ if you will ] rest in the spot where He means to restore us. That is why the scripture says here – He makes me lie down in green pastures. Sometimes we would run right by the spot where God means…

BE STILL and God will speak - through the Deeps.
So many people say that they are concerned that God does not speak to them. But when I inquire I learned that they actually don’t spend any time listening for Him. Be still and learn to listen to the Holy Spirit and He will speak through the deeps to you! Seek & ye shall find!!

The Lord is My FIRE!
#SEEKISM 249 word Narrative………. I’m really fortunate. I have heard the story of the Lamb that kept running away. And so the Shepherd broke his leg so he couldn’t run away anymore. I liked that story & I thought maybe it was about me. Only to find out the story probably isn’t true. But maybe it’s true of me anyway… I can’t really take credit for the things that have happened in my life.…

Isaiah 46:3-4 God's love and care through our lives!
Isaiah 46:3-4 is a message from God that reminds us of His love and care for us throughout our entire lives. In these verses, God speaks to His people, telling them that He has been with them since the day they were born. He says, “I have upheld you since your birth, and have carried you since you were born.” This shows how close God is to us, like a parent who holds and protects a child. It…

In 1 Samuel 16:7, God tells Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”This verse is part of the story where God sends Samuel to Jesse’s house to choose a new king for Israel. Samuel sees Jesse’s oldest son, Eliab, and thinks he must be the one God has chosen because he looks strong and impressive. But God corrects Samuel, saying that He does not judge by outward appearance like humans do. Instead, God looks at the heart, the inner part of a person. This story teaches us that God’s values are different from ours. People often focus on how someone looks, how successful they are, or what they have achieved. But God cares about what is inside us—our thoughts, our intentions, and our character. The heart, in the Bible, represents who we really are on the inside. It includes our faith, kindness, humility, and how much we seek to do what is right.David, who was chosen to be king, did not look like the obvious choice. He was the youngest son, and people probably did not see him as important. But God chose him because He saw David’s heart. David was not perfect—he made mistakes later in life—but his heart was focused on God. He trusted God, loved Him, and wanted to follow His ways. This verse reminds us not to judge others by what we see on the outside. Someone might look impressive, but their heart could be far from God. On the other hand, someone who seems unimportant might have a heart full of faith and love. We should try to see people the way God sees them and value their character, not just their looks or success. It also teaches us to focus on our own hearts. What we look like or how successful we are does not matter as much as having a heart that loves God and wants to do what is right. God sees the real us—our thoughts, feelings, and intentions. Even if others do not notice us or value us, God sees our worth and knows who we really are. This verse is a comfort and a challenge. It comforts us because God sees our true value, even when others do not. It challenges us to take care of our hearts and focus on becoming the kind of people God wants us to be—kind, honest, and faithful. What matters most to God is not how we appear on the outside, but who we are on the inside.
