There are a lot of questions surrounding Hilton Hotema’s death and it’s something people ask about pretty often. They want to know how he died and whether he lived his life the way he claimed.

There have been some rumors supposedly circulated by his original publisher, Health Research in Mokelumne Hill, CA, that Hilton Hotema died from a motorcycle accident in 1970. This is simply not true and it was really quite comical the first time I read it. Perhaps his publishers were afraid he might lose some credibility if it was found out that he died of natural causes. There were actually a lot of rumors that went around. My grandmother said that awhile after he passed away, some of his followers would call to ask about him and they were shocked to find out he’d died. She said that they suspected foul play, but that wasn’t the case. He was very careful with his health and he was very, very smart. His logic was correct, but unfortunately his body did inevitably wear out and he passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 9, 1970 at the age of 92.

He did indeed practice what he preached. He ate fruits and vegetables primarily, as well as beans. He also walked just about everywhere he went. Everyday he would walk to the post office in the town of Sebring, FL where he’d lived since the 1930’s. He took very good care of himself, making sure he gave his body the best possible fuel while staying active. He was a bit hard of hearing later in life, but otherwise he was in very good health.

It's F5 on the Mac as well, but a lot of Macs have different functions attached to the keys. (For example my mac book pro uses F5 to dim the lights under the keys). If you go to System Preferences, keyboard and Mouse then there's a check box you tick to take off the tagged function.

Control features on your Mac

By default, the top row of keys on your Apple keyboard control many different features on your Mac. For example, pressing the keys with speaker icons adjusts the volume.

Use standard function keys

Standard function keys work differently depending on the app and the keyboard shortcuts that you've set up. Some apps have their own keyboard shortcut preferences that you can customize.

To use the standard function keys, hold the Function (Fn)/Globe key when pressing a function key. For example, pressing both Fn and F12 (speaker icon) performs the action assigned to the F12 key instead of raising the volume of your speakers.

If your keyboard doesn’t have an Fn key, try pressing and holding the Control key when pressing a function key.

Change the default function key behavior

If you want to change the top row of keys to work as standard function keys without holding the Fn key, follow these steps:

Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.

Click Keyboard.

Select 'Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys'.

In the settings menu, press “Options…” and then “Controls…”. After that you scroll down and click the box corresponding to the action done in Minecraft. On your keyboard, press whatever key you want the action to be and click Done. You’re all set! You can always click “Reset” which will put the key back to default. Make sure there are no conflicts!
