Cincinnati Open 2025 (Cincinnati, United States)
Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe won yesterday the title at the WTA 1000 in Cincinnati thanks to a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Guo Hanyu and Alexandra Panova. This is their second WTA doubles title of the season (won Stuttgart in April), their sixth as a team, and Dabrowski's 19th of her career. With Dabrowski's win, Canadian women has now won a WTA title for the third straight week, joining Leylah Annie Fernandez winning in singles in Washington, D.C., and Victoria Mboko winning in singles in Montréal.

Cincinnati Open 2025 (Cincinnati, United States)
Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and partner Erin Routliffe advanced to the final ot the WTA 1000 in Cinicnnati after winning their semifinal match 3-6, 6-3, [12-10] over Lyudmyla Kichenok and Ellen Perez. This is their second WTA final of the season together, and the eleventh of their partnership that began in August 2023. Dabrowski also reached the final of the Cincinnati Open in 2021 with former partner Luisa Stefani, while Routliffe is the defending champion, having won the title last year with Asia Muhammad. The Canada-New Zealand pair will face Guo Hanyu and Alexandra Panova in Sunday's final.

National Bank Open 2025 (Day 12)
Canadian Victoria Mboko captured her first WTA title after defeating Naomi Osaka 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 at the 1000 event in Montréal. Mboko is the second wildcard in the Open Era to win the tournament, after Monica Seles in 1995, and the third Canadian woman, after Faye Urban in 1969 and Bianca Andreescu in 2019. She is also the lowest-ranked champion at the Canadian Open and second-lowest ranked woman to win a WTA 1000 title, after No. 133 Kim Clijsters at the 2005 Indian Wells Open. With her wins over Sofia Kenin (in the second round), Coco Gauff (in the fourth round), Elena Rybakina (in the semifinals), and Osaka today, Mboko is the second-youngest woman in the Open Era to defeat four Grand Slam champions at the same WTA Tour tournament, after Serena Williams at the 1999 US Open. She is also the second straight Canadian to win a WTA title, after Leylah Fernandez's victory last week in Washington, D.C., United States.

National Bank Open 2025 (Day 11)
18-year-old Canadian Victoria Mboko advanced to the first WTA final of her career with a hard-fought 1-6, 7-5, 7-6(4) victory over Elena Rybakina in the semifinals. The Canadian saved a match point, and Rybakina served for the match twice in the third set. Mboko is the first Canadian to reach the singles final at the WTA 1000 in Canada since Bianca Andreescu in 2019, and is also the first Canadian in the Open Era to defeat three Grand Slam champions in the same WTA tournament (won over Sofia Kenin in the second round, won over Coco Gauff in the fourth round, and won over Rybakina today in the semifinals). Mboko will next face Naomi Osaka in tomorrow's final.

Canadian Leylah Annie Fernandez won the biggest singles title of her career thanks to a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Anna Kalinskaya in the final of the WTA 500 in Washington, D.C., United States.
