jayce is 24, reader is 17.

as much as you and your brother love each other, you two are the worst duo to exist.

with a 6 year age gap between the both of you, he obviously almost always knew more than you did.

you guys drove your poor mother insane.

after the explosion, the first thing you did was ask him what the hell he did

he immediately became defensive

you both didn't speak of it again and refuse to bring up the explosion at get togethers or dinners because it WILL end with you two in a fist fight

jayce was always more interested in the whole "creation of magic" thing than you were. what happened to you guys' mom was before you were born, you have no memory of magic saving your mother.

however, aside from the bickering about hextech, jayce would do anything and everything to keep you safe.

the first time you met viktor, you very quickly clocked that your brother liked him

after you both split ways from viktor, you started pushing him

"that your boyfriend?"

"excuse me?"

"you heard me."

there's not more verbal bickering than there is physical fighting between you two.

obviously, no one walks away SERIOUSLY injured, but you do have a few scars and scrapes that he's given you over the years.

he tries SO hard to get you into his research, but you're way too scared of what it could do, so you stay away.

but you always tell jayce to "be safe, not stupid" whenever he goes to the lab.

viktor eventually sees you as a little sibling as well.

think of jayce as book smart with no common sense, but you have common sense with close to no book smarts.

jayce also tags you with the nickname of "the pain in my ass" or, more affectionately, "twerp".

so i’m currently in undergrad pursuing a pre-med major, and i was wondering how viktor would be around his crush or maybe even fem!reader significant girlfriend that studies by yapping. i mean absolute yapping, his s/o writes on so so so much paper and one chalkboards explaining the processes of the human body and how it works, along with spelling out the names. bonus points, how does viktor react on being the readers subject? like the reader would like draw on viktors leg or arm or maybe even bicep, and point out the major veins, muscles, and bones while explaining every process and piece to him. maybe while he’s working she’ll mumble to herself while studying before turning to viktor all like “all right this is how it goes” and just yaps yaps yaps. and when his s/o completes an exam, viktor wonders if her study strategies really work; and to his surprise, his s/o always gets above a 90 on their exams.

STUDY SUBJECT ; VIKTOR x READER

reader is fem, but can be read as neutral.

Since the day he'd met you, he was absolutely infatuated with you. The first thing he noticed was that you talked quite a lot. He didn't mind it though, he enjoyed having someone around that was so.. lively. You were the one that first talked to Viktor. He quickly learned that you're a pre-med major; that you have quite the interest in the human body and how it functions.

You'd both been spending your nights together talking, talking, and talking.. He'd stopped by on a particular night, just to see how you'd been. He hadn't heard from you in a while, and while that was normal for him, it wasn't normal for you. He stayed on your doorstep for about five minutes until you finally opened the door.

"Viktor!" You smiled. He gave a faint smile for a moment; he realized how tired you looked. "Are you.. alright?" He asked, his voice soft and light. You looked down, then put your forehead against the doorframe. "I've been studying.. It's not really working though. I normally have a study-buddy kinda thing going on, but my friend who normally helps is busy, and—" He stopped you by stepping into your home. "I suppose I could step in and fill their spot."

Viktor didn't know what he was getting himself into. After twenty minutes or so, he had drawings on his arms of veins, muscles, bones, and arteries. You'd stare and read your book for a while, and then turn to Viktor and start pointing, poking and explaining what everything you drew on him does for the body.

Viktor lightly sighed as you traced your fingers along his arm and bicep. This definitely wasn't what he was expecting, but he wasn't upset about it at all.

"This.. is how you study?" You quickly nodded, "Yes! And my grades show it." He tilted his head slightly, "... Really?" You smiled, "I got a 94 on my last exam!"

Throughout the study session, Viktor would sometimes catch himself staring at your eyes for too long. You smiled as you look back into his eyes, but then quickly turned and shut your book. "We're done! Or uh.. For this exam, anyways.." Viktor noticed your face was a bit red, "What's wrong?" He gently asked as he grabbed his cane from the table. You shook your head, "Ah, nothing!.."

Viktor tilted his head, "It doesn't seem like nothing, does it?" he paused, using his cane to pull himself up to stand, "On another note, it was very interesting to see how you learn.. And I am very proud of you for doing so, even if I might not be your usual.. subject."

You let out a small laugh as he called himself your subject, "Aww, it wasn't that bad was it?" You got up out of your chair, standing close to Viktor. He took a moment to admire your eyes, relishing in the time you two had just spent together. He stayed silent for a while; both of you did.

He sighed and grabbed your hand. "You are the most interesting person I've met. Do you know that?" You looked away, your face red. "And what exactly do you mean by interesting?"

Viktor took hold of your left hand, bringing it to his lips and leaving a soft kiss on it. "I would enjoy being your 'study subject' again, if you don't mind, of course."

i'm cool with writing any arcane character really, although i'm super into viktor and jayce at the moment :P
