Would you fuck your clone is a very interesting question in my opinion. It's not just about whether or not you're your own type.

It also says a lot about your relationship with intimacy for example imagine an asexual or maybe aromantic character who's only exception is themselves.

Or not only would you fuck your clone but would you date your clone? Would you marry your clone? Would you say secrets you wouldn't share with anyone else to your clone?

The question also exposes a lot of your personal feelings towards yourself. Like how would you treat yourself in bed? Would you want to service yourself or would you want to be sadistic? What do you think that you deserve.

Because not only is it you but it's you outside of yourself, because you're not a hive mind but you're not two different people either it's like you were once a single river and you split up and diverged into two different paths. No longer are you synchronized entities.

"would you fuck your clone" = boring, who cares, the answer says nothing about you other than whether or not you're your own type

"would you fuck MY clone" = unexpected, high potential to cause a lot of 'why would you fuck my clone and not me?' drama, reasonable question to ask if you're a mad scientist

I dislike the headcanon of Isha seeing Jinx as her mother solely because I am soooo much more attached to Sevika as the parental figure in their trio. Girl aunt dad mom Sevika who acts the way that fathers do when you bring home a dog or a cat they swore they hated. Going from despising Jinx’s guts to taking care of her when she’s sick and Silco’s too busy to help. Letting her draw and paint on everything she owns even though it makes her look far less intimidating. Instinctively accompanying Jinx when she goes out following Silco’s death because she’s afraid of her getting taken by the enforcers. Asking her to stay put when Sevika knows she’ll be attending meetings with the chembarons, because her biggest fear is Jinx being taken without Sevika there to stop it. She rationalizes it as cleaning up Silco’s messes, as always. She feels a natural obligation to take care of his daughter after his death. That’s it.

Then Isha comes along, who is much calmer. And at first Sevika’s just irritated to have another mouth to feed, another problem to watch over. But she’s so much more quiet than Jinx, and she mellows her out. Jinx looks happy for once. So Sevika lets Isha stay. And eventually, she finds Isha following her around, the way she follows Jinx around. After Isha witnessed her fight Smeech, she starts looking up to Sevika like she looks up to Jinx. It’s been so long since anyone’s seen Sevika’s efforts, and treated her like someone important. Even if it’s just a little girl, it still manages to strike Sevika down to her core.

It catches Sevika by surprise, what she’s become. She’s so used to being relied on that she finds it difficult to identify when it becomes a willing thing. Until one night when she’s tucked Isha into bed beside Jinx, and a warmth fills her seeing both of them asleep, cuddling one another. And suddenly she realizes how much she enjoys taking care of them. How much she loves them.
