Looking at my life from this fish eye point of view, then I melt back to my mushy insides and look outwards, eyes first, ears second. I ponder about the future, first with an indecisive discomfort concerning if any effort should be made at all, and then the discomfort fades as I retract to my dark room, one that only exists in my head. It seems that there I am amorphous, cigarette in one hand and wine in the other, reminiscing warmly on my past. All the trips, all the sex, all the music, all those drinks. A life it seems that was barely mine, as if someone told me that it had all happened, but I had never been there. Like a vivid dream you remember and wonder if it you were there or not.

They kept talking about the elite republican guard in these hushed tones. Remember that? Like they were the boogeyman. Yeah, we’re doing well but we have yet to face the elite republican guard. Like these guys are 10 feet tall, desert warriors. "Never lost a battle, we shit bullets".
WELL, after two and a half months of continuous carpet bombing and not ONE reaction at all from these fuckers, they became simply, the republican guard, not nearly as elite as we may have led to you believe.
And after another month of continuous bombing and not one reaction AT ALL, they went from the elite republican guard to the republican guard to the republicans made this shit up about there being guards out there. We hope you enjoy your firework show.
