yeah okay the substance made me feel sick to my stomach but does anybody else who watched this movie feel like it had a profound affect on your self image or self worth? like i genuinely feel less scared of looking old and/or undesirable after watching this. like we should not be fucking doing this to ourselves and our own lives are worth it !!!!!!!!

23/12/24 - Thai food, catch ups, and getting scammed.

Had a little catch up with my friend to distact from the chaos of work and my lack of gym time. I started to take this month of December for rest since i don't celebrate christmas. This was on the 23rd, though, which was hectic since German markets were out and last-minute shoppers.

We ended up going to the same thai place my friend ate at on her birthday. It's one of those places where all dishes are all-rounders in taste profile, simple yet very comforting. Also, because we know what we want to order, tom kha and Green Curry, haha :p.

We quite literally told ourselves, a little bites here and there, but ended up quite full after this since the Tom kha is a one person meal, but we were sharing both the soup and curry.

We also bought some mochas and a pastry to share early in our journey. The pastry was very standard but kind of dry, like a maple pecan plait but in a bigger 'danish' style, the mochas were not as warm but i assume thats becuase of the amount of cream they put on top. I always have a habit of buying a mocha from any coffee establishment and judging the quality since it's my favourite coffee drink. This one was good in taste, but i do wish it was a little warmer.

Outside of the munches, i got scammed by giving a lady 11 pounds for baby formula 🥹😔. My friend was using the multi faith room to pray when i see this lady and child come up to me to ask for money for formula, i was not familiar with this area and i was afraid to get lost so i pulled cash out of a cash point to give it to her.

At the time, i had a gut feeling that she might be scamming me, but also, i felt extremely bad if that was not the case, so i gave it to her anyway....until another lady comes up to me (no kid this time) and does the exact thing.

Obviously, at this point, i have refused since i now know that I've been scammed. I quite literally saw them conversing with each other after this.

Im quite devastated since this month. I've been trying to be more charitable, and my money just went down the drain like that, my freind was even adamant on getting my money back but they were gone by the time we walked away.
