I'm not gonna put my hand on yours when I say this, but....companies don't give a fuck about you. Yes, not even the big corps that have changed their logos and make overly expensive pride merch.

It is beyond obvious that these businesses do not, have not, and will not care about you. Everything is a marketing technique in order to make you support their brand and buy their product.

The only difference is that with the rise of the far right in several different countries, they're becoming more obvious in their lack of care.

I'm talking not only as a big corp hater, I'm talking as a business girl who's surrounded by people with businesses too. These pride sales, changing logos, suddenly pushing out LGBTQ employees onto their pages these are all money gragging marketing schemes, and you are FALLING FOR IT.

Stop falling into the hands of capitalism because they're marketing acceptance and inclusion. As a matter of fact, I blame a good lot of you for the fact that we're still in a horrible place of late stage capitalism. If you really cared about our community, and moving forward to a future without capitalism, we wouldn't be putting money into the pockets of these guys.

Imagine if for the month of pride we stuck to small owned businesses, supported one another through mutal aid, and properly educated ourselves on the REAL history about us. If we had done this since the big uprising of acceptance towards us in 2020, we would have been over this shit a while ago.

And if I even hear a singular "Op is a terf, stay safe and block!" You're the reason why we're stuck in this shit hole, because you can't even take hearing genuine shit from someone you disagree with. How the fuck do you plan on organising anything to fight against capitalism, and far right extremism when you can't even work with people, who have the same goal as you, because you don't like them.
