Rory just raised an eyebrow at him, his face looking blank and unimpressed, but really he was slightly amused. But the Doctor wasn't allowed to know that. "Yeah, well, they're handy for keeping strange men out of your house." He shot the other man a pointed look.
He rolled his eyes. "It's Williams, Doctor. Still a Williams. We've been good, though. Keeping busy, you know, staying out of trouble." He shrugged. "Just life. No robospiders to my knowledge."

“Who uses a front door? Front doors are boring, adults invented them. Old people with nothing better to do but.. invent boring things, eat vegetables, smoke pipes and gossip.” The Doctor’s nose wrinkled in distaste.
If only Rory knew. His time was coming, closer and closer still, and for every ounce in him, he wished he could stop everything and not have to see it end. “And how have you been, Mister Pond? Anything exciting? No robospiders, not one.”

"Ok." He nodded back, smiling happily. "Rightio."
"Well, then. Got you there." He kissed her back happily, running a hand through her hair. He laughed a little at her phrasing. "Bun in the oven, alright." He wrinkled his eyes, pulling a face at her as she tapped him on the nose. Rory loved it when Amy got all lovey dovey. A large amount of their relationship involved yelling and wildly inappropriate comments that made him blush to no end, and he couldn't help but appreciate the change. Not that he didn't love her in those times as well, but it was moments like this that reminded him why.
+ centurion-ponds wants to time travel.
“And I want it, really. I really do..” She nodded.
As he wrapped his arms around her she smiled. “No, sorry that is not happening, you know how I hate my middle name, is so common and no..” She shook her head as she kissed him softly. “Fine, not Rory, not Arthur, no Amelia and no Jessica.. We’ll find a name as soon we have the bun in the oven..” She grinned, poking his nose, looking at him with affection, love and respect. She loved him way beyond her forces.

"Yeah, I... Probably joking." Rory tried to smile a little. He knew he was being weird, and probably coming off very rude, but he was confused. Rory didn't like being confused, especially on things he generally knew about. "Mmm, really different. It's all... dark. And spacey." That was the best Rory could do. Sure, the normal TARDIS was pretty much as spacey as it went, but it was meant to be all golden and happy, with random switches and levers everywhere. This was far too clean for Rory's liking. He turned to face Clara. "How long have you been doing that?"

+6
“Well, not of him. But he didn’t say I was the boss. He was probably joking though,” Clara said, shrugging. She knew not to take the Doctor too seriously about that. Clara could tell that he was confused, if he really was a past companion then that wasn’t surprising. “I can’t blame you there, I get confused almost on a daily basis.” That came with the time travel. Knitting her eyebrows together she asked, “Different? It’s been like this ever since I started traveling with him.”

"Yeah, that's true. I'm, uh, certainly not complaining." He shrugged happily. "Huh. That's clever. I'm, yeah... Certainly trying to look at what's around me. It's a little hard sometimes, though."

“Ah well, no reason to look a gift-horse in the mouth, right? It’s better to just enjoy what life hands to you rather than dwelling on it. You end up spending too much time looking down at your feet, rather than at what’s happening around you, if you question every little thing.”

He stood a little awkwardly, looking around. "He, uh... Might turn up eventually." He paused, slightly unsure how to respond to her. "Yeah?" He knew the Doctor had had other people travel with him before, and he wasn't stupid enough to think that he and Amy would be the last. He had just never met someone like that, besides River. And she would always be kind of a special case.

+rose--tyler--traveller
Rose continued looking, hoping she would find a sign that the Doctor was near, perhaps shecould surprise him and wait in the TARDIS, but she had no luck. She turned back to Rory as he spoke. Rose nodded and replied, “Thought so. I used to travel with him you know…”

Rory stayed quiet as the flames began to die down, realising that he'd probably just panic her and make them come back if he asked too many questions. He just smiled at her slightly, hoping that he was being somewhat of a comforting presence.

He took her hand, still smiling. "Rory. Rory Williams." Or Pond, but he was beginning to become rather tired of that particular nickname. He made a little humming noise in agreement to her. He would bet that there weren't many people on Earth who could do that. "I know someone who might... He'd probably know how to help. Where are you from, if that's not rude? Not, uh, not this planet, right?" He smiled, trying to make it come across as a bit of a joke, just in case. He laughed a little, tipping his head back at the thought of his adventures with the Doctor. "One you probably wouldn't believe either. Even if you've got hands that light on fire..."
|Serafina & centurion-ponds|
Knowing that he wasn’t going to freak out or tell anybody about what he had just witnessed, Serafina relaxed a little. When she felt him sit down beside her, she turned her head to give him an apologetic glance. “Sorry, just…give me a minute.” She remained quiet afterwards. Slowly, the flames started to die down, and soon enough her hands were back to normal; albeit being warmer than usual.

Turning to him once more, she offered her hand out for him to shake. “I’m Serafina, since we didn’t really do a proper introduction earlier. Just Sera’s fine, though.” she introduced herself before getting back to what he had said to her earlier. “I don’t really know anyone else who can do this. Or anyone who doesn’t freak out about this, for that matter.” she admitted. “I like long stories.” She knew that when people said ‘It’s a long story’, they were usually reluctant to talk about it; so she would have understood if he had chosen not to elaborate.

"Uh..." Rory didn't really know how to answer that truthfully. "You could say that. I'm just... It worked."

+centurion-ponds started following you+
“Yeah, you’re alive. Why do you sound so surprised? Do you die often?”

Rory smiled, watching her slightly hesitantly as she looked around them. He had seen that look before, way too many times for his liking. She was trying to find the box, and if his experience was anything to go by, she would keep waiting until it turned up again. "Yeah. Well... Yeah. Not at the moment. We're on a break."

+rose--tyler--traveller
Roses grin grew as Rory continued to say it was him. Rose didn’t care if he had changed, it just meant he was here. “I don’t believe so, no!” Rose chuckled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before looking around to see if she could see the man or his famous TARDIS. “So, I am guessing… you travel with him?” Rose asked, shrugging her shoulders and raising an eyebrow.

Rory smiled, watching her as she put her hands on the ground. The flames continued, and he couldn't help but watch as they did. "That's alright... It's, um, probably better that you're not."

He nodded, sitting down beside her. "Yeah, it's... kind of weird. I'm sort of... used to this sort of thing, I guess." He glanced at her. "It's a long story." He watched the flames again for a moment. "Even so, it's pretty cool... Someone should be able to help you, though."
|Serafina & centurion-ponds|
“I think I’ll be all right.” Serafina nodded. “I mean, it’s not the first time this happened.” Placing her palms flat on the ground, she looked to him from where she sat. “Sorry about…you know. Pretending to be hurt. ” she apologised sheepishly.

“It’s just that you were a complete stranger, and I didn’t know what to do. Most people don’t really take this too well.” She didn’t even know his name yet, and she was already telling him all this. Having answered his most recent question, she started to work her way backwards. “I’m not particularly sure if it’s a superpower.” she smiled a little at the term. “It just…happens, I suppose. Can’t really control it too well.”

"Huh." Rory glanced around, beginning to look a little worried. Unusually quiet streets were never a good thing, especially when the Doctor was involved. And Rory didn't even know where he was. As they drove closer to the solitary figure, Rory began to get his hopes up a little. Amy wasn't exactly the most inconspicuous person, there was a good chance he had seen her. As the man turned around, Rory jumped a little in surprise. "What... What's wrong with him?"

+elianaoswald
Eliana frowned. “No. Usually people are just walking around.. I wonder what’s happened?” A flash of something moving ahead of them caught her eye and she said, “There!” As they drove closer they saw it, or rather, him, more clearly. “Hey, you there!” she yelled out, a distance away as she rolled down the window.

"Boss of the Doctor? I don't think... The Doctor doesn't have a boss." Except for the TARDIS, maybe, or River, when she turned up. Certainly not random tiny girls who seemed to appear out of nowhere. Rory looked at the girl confusedly. She wasn't the companion. That was Amy's job. "I don't... I'm very confused." Looking around him, he took a few steps into the TARDIS, pulling at one of the levers. "It's different. Why... is it different?"

+6
“Yeah. I like to think I’m boss. Well, think being the keyword. He shouldn’t let people in randomly without warning me.” She would’ve liked a warning that they would have guests. Was that too much to ask for? “Oh?” Had he been a previous companion then? The brunette was very curious. “I’m his companion. And I don’t know what he’s done yet. I suppose I’ll find out when he gets back.”

He smiled a little. "I don't think so. I guess you got that from your... The Doctor." It was too weird to think of the man being the father of anything, let alone a child. "Um... Neither do I. S'never happened before... Um. Do you... How often do you see them? And... And us?"
