guys since ap lang/sats/acts/whateverthefuckelse is coming up for a lot of people i wanna share my fav strat for english mc questions (specifically, the ones that involve a passage, which is most of them).

i typically read the question itself before i read the passage. that way, i can think abt the question as im reading and form thoughts abt it. i find it much quicker and more efficient than reading the passage, reading the question, then going back and reviewing. the important thing is to not look at the answer options—you wanna answer the question yourself. i feel like 90% of the time, the questions arent necessarily difficult or confusing. youre smart enough to know the answer, but if youre debating between all 4 options, its harder to tell which one is actually correct. if youve already answered the question, its obvious which choice is correct (or, at least, which ones are incorrect). doing this has kept me from needing to have an internal war over every other question so i figured id share:D
