A little explanation of my comic:

The comic imagines a night when all of the statues in the city come to life and if you join their dance you become a statue as well. I've been thinking a lot lately about what being trans in public spaces feels like these days, and the ways that being seen can also mean being put in danger.

Given the chance to be a highly visible statue of a trans person in a public space and to be literally indestructible, the prospect might be tempting. The party is a night of joyous reunion but at the end it's a bittersweet feeling. Being locked away means not being able to experience that joy.

idk about like..."soulmates" fiction, but I do think there's taboo romance novels in trill society about taking your drying lovers worm into your own body and then uniting with them.

do you think there's a genre of taboo erotic fiction in trill society about two people who keep finding back to each other with each new host even though it's forbidden

kind of like a "i'll find you in every lifetime" romance but it's tantalizing and sexy

This one's electric and has a feature where you can set the indent. On return it sets the carriage back to wherever you put it, so it'd be great for poetry or writing on one side and doing a lil illustration opposite!
