Once he had gotten used to 1973—at least a little bit—he was settling in more comfortably. Anxieties about the future plagued him at all times, but he knew that there wasn’t anything he could do about those anxieties, so instead of worrying over them all the time, he tried his best to relax. However, by the stiff way he sat and the way he chewed on his nail, it was clear that any effort to ‘relax’ wasn’t working.

alex shoved a handful of cheese puffs in his mouth and just as soon felt a pair of eyes staring at him. the blonde turned his attention away from the tv set and towards the observer. after swallowing the last bit of the corn snack he finally spoke. “sorry i just ate the last bag of cheese puffs. there’s some crumbs here if you want them though.” he lifted the bag up in mid air and shook it a little to prove his statement.
