Lowkey pissed about the hate Colin and Penelope's actors are getting this season. Just saw someone talk about how awful Colin’s Botox face is and Penelope’s Smokey eye and Acrylics. Like first of all…Botox? Lmao really…

Second have you seen Bridgerton, pretty much everything is historically inaccurate but that’s sort of its charm. Also Luke Newton worked pretty damn hard in the gym (as you can see by looking at him) just for yall to say he got Botox cause he lost weight in his face.

Most of all they are human beings (shocking!) who worked really hard to make a show that a lot of people enjoy. If you don’t like it that’s perfectly fine but stop being assholes and attacking actors appearances and nitpicking their costume and makeup choices just cause your mad.

I noticed in the Marketplace scene (s3 ep 2 I believe) where Penelope and Colin meet up that it foreshadows important moments for them.

First they pass candles> referencing when Colin catches Penelope reading his journal and accidentally knocks over his glass candle holder.

Second they pass statues> referencing the ball in which afterwards the Carriage scene takes place. You can see the Romanesque statue and column theme.

Third they pass a tapestry being held up by wood poles with colored ribbon wrapped around it> referencing the balloon episode which shows young children wrapping colorful ribbon around a maypole.

This may be my delusion but I noticed this and feel like it was very intentional.
