I imagine that these are their designs for the 1st season- hence why Miko doesn't have any pink streaks in her hair yet. It's also the reason why she has her hair in the high ponytail instead of the iconic twin-tails and is dressed in more formal wear. At this point in time, she cares more about what her strict parents and their company wants rather than what she wants- and she's only just beginning to break out of their control.

Crying Child lives au where Mike and Friends not only make Evan a part of the friend group but make him Leader of the friend group and do literally whatever he says to make up for what they did.

Evan isn't sure what to make of it at first but he does slowly warm up to it, leading to him to do things like

Have Mike and Friends play pretend with him

Playing with plushies together

Evan getting upset when William won't let him have a dog, and thus asking that someone in the friend group pretends to be a dog for him (this position ofc gets thrusts onto the Pushover of the friend group)

Evan asking them to do increasingly embarassing (but not, like, actually harmful) things

Except also the friend group is EXTREMELY chaotic and will take his requests too literally sometimes to make him laugh. Also sometimes Evan will mention that he wants some toy/candy/clothes and the gang will shoplift it for him and Evan will be like NO THAT'S NOT OKAY! THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!

Hey dude(gender neutral) I have a question about AAC tablets! So I want to make an OC who uses these… and vague question but… how can I write an accurate/ cool character with irl problems? Keep up with the amazing content!!!! Stay cool!

Hello!

Here are some things that are helpful to remember when writing or making a character who uses an AAC device.

It takes us longer to say things. We can't just bust into conversation immediately, it takes us a while to get down a sentence, especially when it's a long sentence.

Our device is not something sad. It is fantastic, and beautiful, and helpful. My device's case is one of my favorite colors, and it has stickers on it. Make it look cool! Not sad.

We can have complex thoughts, opinions, and identities. I have lots of thoughts and opinions, and my identity is complex.

We are not all cishet.

Lots of (not all, if course!) us use AAC straps to carry around our devices more easily.

Not necessary of course, but personally, I'd love to see an AAC user character with a cool fashion sense.

And finally, some of us do use the term nonverbal and that is super swag and valid, but if you are speaking, please default to using nonspeaking instead of nonverbal.

For people with anxiety about filing taxes, here’s what things that happen when you make a mistake on your tax return:

- it gets corrected

- you get a letter in the mail either asking for some additional information or a letter showing the adjustment

- you pay the amount (there’s options for payment plans too!) or get a refund

Things that do not happen

- you’re “in trouble”

- you are charged with fraud

- you go to jail

I know that most people are probably just joking/exaggerating when they say a mistake on their return means they get thrown in jail but when I worked with the public I always would encounter people who believed that would happen and they would be panicking about it. So I like to put this out there every year because if I can even prevent one person from feeling that way, it’s worth it

(Afternoon April 13, 2023) The Missouri Attorney General just used an Emergency Rule to ban all gender-affirming care for people of all ages (yes, adults) in the state.

In order to receive any care, transgender minors and adults alike will have to:

have 3 years of documented “severe” dysphoria

18 months of state-mandated conversion therapy

have zero mental health conditions, most specifically anxiety, depression, or autism

require tests for “social contagion” for 15 years after beginning care

This will cut TENS OF THOUSANDS of trans people off of medical care. Please care about us, oh my god.
