The air filled with smoke and voices was somehow soothing. My boyfriend Taeyong, stood infront of me. Talking and flirting with another girl.

I didn't know what to think. I stepped back as soon as I saw her  wrap her arms around his neck and lean in. I watched their lips move in sync, but didn't wanna see more. I ran away from the scene as my eye sight got blurry due to my tears flooding my eyes.

As soon as I got to my apartment I was a mess. My keys crashed to the ground making a loud sound. I used to have a bad habit of self harming but I quit to be a better person. The negativity in my head and the sight of the razor in my bathroom had me thinking bad things.

Before I knew it my legs were moving on their own. I knew this was wrong, but I had just lost the love of my life. I wanted to stop myself, but couldn't.

My phone rang and my best friend Mingi was calling. He was the one who had taken me to see Taeyong and I forgot I had just left. I ignored his call and focused on the object in my hand.

The sharp razor slowly cut my skin. I thought, the deeper it was, the easier I will forget about Taeyong. My thoughts and focus were cut off by the door being kicked open. Mingi stood infront of and I hadn't realized he had been knocking on the door.

"Y/N STOP!" He grabbed the razor out of my hand threw it somewhere across the room. Soon I had passed out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. I felt a firm grasp on my hand and looked to my left. There lay Mingi holding my hand and crying. "Y/n please don't do this ever again. I can't lose you." "I won't do it ever again Mingi." He looked up at me and put his hand out into a fist with only his pinky out."You have to pinky promise, Y/n" I giggled and connected our fingers.

I was released from the hospital soon and headed home with Mingi. He stopped walking and faced me."Listen Y/n, we've been best friends for a long time and I hated seeing the way Taeyong treated you. I want to prove to you that I can treat you better and that I love you. I've always loved you. Eversince we started hanging out and I got to know you, I realized my feelings for you." He rested his forehead on mine, held my hands and whisperd. "Please give me a chance Y/n." I smiled "I will give you a chance Mingi. I also like you, but I was confused since I had Taeyong in my life. Now I realize that it was you who I truly liked and loved." We headed to his car hand in hand and smiled at each other.

At my apartment, we got snacks and watched Shrek. Mingi made sure to take care of me and made sure I was happy. I mean I was happy now. I always wake up to his beautiful bright smile and his calm voice. With Mingi by my side, I don't even have negative thoughts.
