It seems like the days change like the water flows

In a blink of an eye a whole year passes

The calendar pages blowing away in 75 per hour winds

The minutes change like lightning speed

Where does the time go

How can I get it back

I’m stuck about 3 to 4 years ago ,

Wondering how to catch up

I feel lost in the past

Pained by the less that what I wanted present

And terrified of the future

Stuck in time holding onto what I wanted

No desire to change what I have

Shaken by the future I’ll create

I just don’t know who what when and why anymore .

Could be why I’m searching for answers in my past .

I lost something , sometime ago

I need it back !

So I sit... stuck, while the time speeds by

Looking for what I left behind , in lost time

Attention

Rejection cuts like a knife

loneliness hurts like a migraine.

Being alone is depressing

Being depressed is exhausting

Feeling worthless

Yearning for affection , needing love

Wanting to be wanted so bad that any attention is good attention

Wanting to be wanted consistently that bad decisions become good decisions

Good decision become actions

Actions turn into regret

Regret turns into pain

Pain turns into numbness

Being numb can make you feel nothing

And feeling nothing can become dangerous for your affection
