Laying down on your back watching whatever the show is playing right now on the television. You finally have a break after all the time you spent for studying, I mean senior year is tough. You don’t have that much friends in college and you’re pretty much far away from home, so most of the time you spend your break time just by yourself. 

The familiar ringtone wakes you up from your so called ‘nap time’. “Yeah, what’s up?” you asked to the other side, “You’re on your break, right?” the man asked you back. You get up from your position to a much comfortable one, “What if I’m not?” you love to tease him and the thoughts that his ears might having a red flush situation makes you smile so much. “Come on stop with the teasing, I actually want to ask if you’re down for stargazing right now,” “I mean, if you don’t want to it’s totally alright” he said. “Are you kidding me chris? wait, imma go change first” you said very excited. “O-okay, I’ll be there in 15.”

People always said that you and your bestfriend, christopher date each other. Like, no way??? you guys have been friends since aaaaaages ago. But on the other hand you do have some sort of feelings towards him. “Here,” chris pats the blanket that he layed down, giving you a signal to sit there. “Thank you for bringing me here, I need this kind of moment” you sighed, receiving a smile from the man. The atmosphere is out of this world, the sound of the water splashing, the stars and oh my goodness, the person who’s now laying right by your side. “You wanna listen to my new song?” chris asked you and without a doubt you gave him a yes. Because chris majors in music, he let you to listen to all the songs he made. “Put this on” he lends you a pair of airpods. 

The song was beautiful, the instrumental he made, his vocals, but mostly the lyrics. It’s a bit different from the other songs he made before, you can feel all the love and emotion from this song. As if you’re the inspiration why he made this song. “How does it sounds? Is it good or do I need to change something?” he asked you curiously. “It’s very beautiful, where did you get the inspiration?” That came out way to the point. 

He took a deep breath before answering your question, “Well, you know, I reunite with my childhood friend after such a long time with zero communication, and I just wanted to tell my feelings for her, but I can’t put it into words, she’s something that even the words can’t describe” the way he smiles while explaining it makes your heart ache a bit, so it’s a mutual love for you? 

“So you’ll be giving her this song as a confession?” you asked him and he nodded. “When will that be?” you asked him again. 

“I just did.” his smile, the dimple, please stop it.

“You, what?” you stuttered, “Don’t you realize how much I’m in love with you after we met each other again?” he asked. “Um, no sir” you laughed with your statement, cause, HELLO??? your bestfriend who’s also your crush is actually has a crush on you too??? 

“So will you accept my confession?” he asked you while covering his ears who are now having that red flush situation. “Of course” you answered him with the biggest smile ever. “You know, I’ve been crushing on you for years too” you exposed yourself to him, “Can see that happened” he giggled. 

“The stars are beautiful” he stated, adoring the dark night sky that is filled with all the shining stars. “Do you know my favourite stars?” you asked him, receiving a no from him. “What’s your favourite?” he asked, “The stars in your eyes” you said with a smile.

Snickers erupted around the classroom as your teacher flipped the mock exam paper onto your desk, shaking her head. Sure enough, scrawled across the front page in ruthless red ink, was your latest score—a solid 29/100. Shrugging, you rolled up the test papers before stuffing them into your backpack like a dejected morning newspaper.

“See me after class, Miss L/n.” Your teacher clicked her tongue in disappointment. Whispers from the back of the class began pricking at your ears.

“Isn’t she the eldest daughter of the Yuhan family? The first in line to inherit a multimillion dollar business.”

“The spring exams are right around the corner. If she flunks those, she won’t even graduate—let alone inherit a whole company!”

Their giggles died down the moment you turned around, the huddle of kids scrambling back to their seats and burying their noses in their books. One girl even flashed you an innocent smile.

Despite their scornful tone, the words made you smile. Clasping your hands behind your head lazily, you leaned back in your chair and let your eyes fall shut.

That is probably the 10th times you begged chan to meet your parents. Your boyfriend is a part of this korean group and they’re holding a concert in your country, so you took that advantage and to bring chan to meet your parents. It’s not that he doesn’t want to meet them, to be honest, he’s also dying to meet your parents, but when there’s a chance, a lot of thoughts just started to pops out of nowhere in his head. 

“They won’t like me, what if they suddenly want us to break up?” he says with a face full of worries. “Don’t you remember when my mom video called me and she was so happy to meet you through the screen?” you try to bring back the memory. 

“What makes you so sure they won’t hate me, hm?” he asks you. “Are you serious with that question? You’re literally like a prince charming that everyone loves and the first time they’ll meet you, they will love you ina matter of seconds, even my grandparents!” you says, earning a giggles from him.

“Alright, when should we meet them?” he asks with a big smile on his face.

There’s nothing more you can hate other than raining and you’re alone at home. Well, you love it when the whole mood changes when it rains and you personally love when the rain season comes but when you’re alone? nope. Like now, you’re cuddled up into the warm and fuzzy blanket on your couch with the tv on playing matilda, your all time favorite movie since you’re a kid. 

A couple of minutes later the door to your house opened and shown a man head to toe wet due to the heavy rain. “Are you crazy? you can get sick Chris” you ran to him with a towel on your hand. “Don’t laugh, I’m dead serious right now” you try to scold him again but you only received giggles from your boyfriend. 

“Stop laughing Chris” “I can’t you look really wholesome right now” how dare he’s saying that you’re wholesome in this kind of situation. “You better go and take a hot shower” you said pushing him to the bathroom.

“Want some hot chocolate?” he asks you from the kitchen, “ Yes please” you answer him with you eyes still on the tv screen, you’re so focus to the movie that you didn’t even notice a cup of hot chocolate is placed to the table right in front of you. “With marshmallows?” you ask him cause he rarely adds marshmallows to hot chocolate. “Wanna make it a bit extra for today” he said with a smile on his face. “You want to change to movie?” you ask him, cause you know the both of you watched this movie a thousand times before, “No it’s fine, I actually starts to fall in love with this movie because of you” “God stop being so cheesy” he just LOVES it when you’re getting shy because of what he did to you “I know you love it tho” he teases you again. 

There’s not much space from the blanket for the both of you to share since Chris didn’t take his blanket cause he said that yours a bit more warm. “You really don’t wanna grab your blanket?” “No, why?” “You’re not covered enough from the blanket, plus it’s cold right now’ you explain to him with your feet on the floor ready to go to your shared bedroom to grab his blanket, before that happen, he grabs your wrist pulling you back to the couch and hugs you. “Let’s just hug like this, I bet there’ll be enough blanket to share” he says, pulling you into a warm hug, warmer than the blanket that now covers the both of you. This man never fails to make a thousands butterflies flying inside your stomach.
