I got choked up remembering that the night after Running Up That Hill, the Hawkins gang (plus Nancy, not pictured) all slept around Max. Like all stayed close to her to support her. And right after this, once Nancy and Dustin realized she'd left the room, they immediately got up and were so relieved when they found her.

That's the soft smile of someone who is slowly starting to realize how much her friends care for her.

you know a joke that never EVER gets old is when a character says smth like “I will NOT go to [place] and that is FINAL” and then it cuts to them in that place I eat that shit up every single time

listen. you can torture your fictional favs for as long as you want but how about letting them heal? how about your characters that experienced so much horror, never given any/enough kindness, and now, maybe at the right time and/or with the right person, they finally get to heal? they get to relax and not look over their shoulder? they get to sleep through the night and not wake up from nightmares? they get to find a person that will always support them, that will always stay with them, no matter how horrible the character thinks they are? no matter how much they wake up at night, shivering, in cold sweat?

"they need to be beaten up, tortured, opened up!" no but how about them getting their wounds bandaged? how about them being stopped from inflicting pain on themselves? how about them being stopped from drowning in their toxic coping mechanisms and find new and healthier ones?

how about that character finally feeling loved and accepted, and having that support to become a better person?

how about things getting better after years of abuse, misunderstanding, and depression, and imprisonment (physical or mental)?

HOW ABOUT THAT???

My apologies if someone has already brought this up, but I just thought of something quite heartbreaking.

When Wednesday chooses to go to Tyler and kiss him, that that is the first time someone, anyone has shown him genuine tenderness in many years, and from a real desire to connect with him. His relationship with his father has been poor, Laurel is preying on him, and he doesn’t seem to have any actual friends.

Anyway, looking at Tyler's room make me sad cause it's just a reminder that Tyler was a normal teenage kid that liked Cheetoes, Lays Potato chips, Red Bull, boats, video games, basketball...etc..until Laurel came along and ruined everything for him.

His dad also didn't help, now he's stuck in Willowhill, In a soulless empty room, with no personality, no light, no job, no friends, no Wednesday, no parents, no life, no nothing. 😭

Writers block is a lack of inspiration, so go collect more.
