Get to know the grammer time. ☺️ . My name is Lauren, from Ohio, and I’m 32, a Pisces, Ravenpuff/Huffleclaw (but formally sorted into Ravenclaw), and an ENFP. I’m a total foodie, an avid gamer, and general nerd - which I embrace completely. I work in tech support for the Lottery, which is always an adventure. I’m married, 2+ years. . I’m also very active in the adoption world. I was both adopted as an infant, and placed my own child in 2013. It’s an open adoption, he was the ring bearer in my wedding, and we’re both very active parts of each other’s lives. I actively advocate for ethical open adoptions & post placement care for women who make adoption plans. I help host monthly support group meetings as well as weekend long retreats 2-3x a year. . When it comes to books & reading I definitely have a wide range of interests. I tend to hover closely to YA, my love of reading spawned from Harry Potter. I love horror books and thriller genres as well. And a good legal thriller is always a quick read for me. I love finding new authors and my TBR list is longer than my lifetime will ever allow 🤣. . I try to never take life too seriously, as this selfie with my Luna Lovegood wand will hopefully convey. I like to have a good time and be surrounded by genuine people. I’m a firm believer that authenticity & vulnerability make the world go round. . I’m a staunch supporter of LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈 rights, as well as BLM ✊🏿. I was raised in the church, but I promise I’m not one of those Christians, and most likely won’t even mention faith unless it’s relevant to a book I read. I fully believe in acceptance and love first. . I’m looking forward in getting involved in the community and sharing book reviews. I also have dabbled in writing recently. I’m working on a novel, but honestly have no idea where it’s going, and that’s part of the fun for me. .
