just found a long controversial miraculous opinion I wrote after watching the season 5 finale in my drafts and I'm debating posting it

because no one else is fucking writing it up on tumblr and i want to remember this bonkers moment: for those who doesn't use tiktok or twitter/just haven't come across it, kate middleton has been "missing" for two months (last photographed on christmas) because she was supposedly at the hospital (later at home, somehow leaving the hospital without being seen) recovering in privacy from a "planned abdominal surgery" (that despite being "planned" she needed to suddenly cancel her engagements for), which is fine, but the total lack of photographs/video and history of coverups and mistreatment in the royal family made people suspicious and ask for proof of life (just a photo, the royal family is constantly being photographed), which didn't happen for 70 days, when a single photo of probably-Kate being driven by her mother popped up, but the photo was so grainy it didn't convince some people.

now today the internet is on fire because they finally posted a high-res photo of her with her kids (sans William, supposedly he took the photo), except it's so clearly-yet-subtly photoshopped around her head that it almost looks like AI generated it. people immediately started tearing it apart and then several media outlets (including AP) put out notices to their partners not to share the photo because even THEY believed it had been edited. so the royal family had to put out a statement, right? well the statement from kate's twitter (supposedly written by her, except we know from harry that they would put out press statements "signed by him" that he had never seen) says "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing", making the story that kate herself photoshopped a different head on the picture to idk, hide her wrinkles or something (hilarious notion that she would do this instead of someone on pr, especially when the photographer was supposed to be WILLIAM but now she's taking the fall), and then she signed it with the letter "C" (her full name is Catherine with a C), which as far as I can tell is something she does very occasionally (the last time she did it before this photo and the following photoshop statement that i could find is another family photo on christmas last year), but it's as if they're trying to affirm that trust us bro, kate is the one tweeting.

also now there's articles being posted about william's alleged mistress and out of nowhere there's a supposed paparazzi photo of kate driving around when days before the british media said they weren't going to post anything of her until she returned to royal duties, almost like they got the greenlight to do damage control. anyway people should get time to recover from surgery but this whole thing is either shady or ludicrous.

I love that one 911verse plot line where in season 2 a main character's ex/estranged wife comes back to help their son, and while they are back in the main characters lives they rekindle a relationship which leads to a pregnancy scare, that leads the main character to repropose to their ex/estranged wife. Then it turns out the main character is NOT going be a father again which leads to angst. Then not long after the pregnancy plot line is resolved the ex/estranged wife is killed after being hit by a vehicle crossing the street.

Am I talking about 911 or 911 Lone Star?

miraculous ladybug au where Marinette accidentally makes the wish, but she wishes for Hawkmoth to have never existed, so she wakes up in a world where Gabriel Agreste never existed, and therefore Adrien never existed. Marinette, Tikki and Plagg are the only ones who know Adrien's gone and are trying to figure out how to bring Adrien back, and fix all the other ripples of the wish without sending Paris back into the chaos of constant akuma attacks

I'm rereading gallagher girls and can I just say I'd Tell You I'd Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You is so funny if you think about it from Josh's perspective.

Like you're just vibing at a fair and then all the sudden you see a girl reaching her hand into a trashcan to grab a soda bottle, you make eye contact and the first thing she says is "I have a cat." You have a silly little conversation about her cat who loves bottles, and learn she is homeschooled for religious reasons and then you leave thinking she's cute.

Then you run into her a few more times including at outside your neighbors surprise party, that she claims she was going to but then never enters. You ask this girl how to keep in touch because you like her, and she says no phone or email, leave notes in this wall instead???? You try to figure out what church this "homeschooled for religious reasons and doesn't have a phone" girl goes to and you have no idea.

You start dating her-still messaging through the wall- she never lets you take her home, she gets really confused when you give her a present on her birthday, almost like she forgot it was her birthday?

Then your friend claims that your girlfriend isn't actually homeschooled, she actually goes to the super exclusive boarding school for rich girls in your home town. When you catch her outside the school, she breaks up with you, claiming she was bored and that's why she dated you and then she IMMEDIATELY GETS KIDNAPPED.

So you do what any normal person would do, you call the cops. you try and rescue her and she's mad about it??? Claims it was a school thing??? And now she's fighting people off and ziplinning away while saying she never had a cat???

So your next rational move is to steal a forklift and drive it through the wall to save your girlfriend from whatever craziness she's involved in.

Then you're taken back to the boarding school, learn its actually a school for spies, your girlfriend is a spy and has lied to you about every single detail about herself, even down to her birthday and her dad being dead. Literally nothing you know about this girl except for her first name is true, and you've been dating for months.

And then her mom gives you special tea that makes you forget everything since she dumped you and you immediately start dating your girl best friend.

do you ever think about how Adora was raised in a extremely controlled environment that greatly limited her ability to gain information about the outside world, and that as soon as she leaves she is thrown into a completely new culture that she knows nothing about and she is expected to be a leader?

Do you ever think about the dramatic culture shock Adora faced when she left the Horde?

In Princess Prom Adora is so set on learning everything she can because it's one of the first big cultural events she has to prove herself in as Adora, not She-Ra.

Adora is someone who grew up with strict rules and suddenly every rule she knew was wrong. And because of her role as a leader in the Rebellion, everyone expects Adora to know things about Etherian culture she never learned.

Do you ever think about how Adora's culture shock greatly affects her as a character?

do you ever think about the fact that Glimmer was never supposed to be queen?

Angella was an immortal being, she had been ruling Brightmoon forever, and everyone expected her to rule Brightmoon forever. No one ever was training Glimmer to be queen because it was inconceivable that Angella wouldn't be around.

It's honestly probably part of the reason Glimmer was so intense about being a commander. It was a way for her to be a leader for her kingdom, and protect them, because she was never suppose to ascend the throne. And that's why she refers to herself as "just a princess" because as far as she knows, that is all she will ever be.

And then the portal happens and Angella sacrifices herself.

Glimmer had grown up dealing with the loss of a parent, but also with the comfort that her mother was suppose to be incapable of death, and then that reality is stripped away in an instant and she then has all this responsibility thrust upon her that she was never prepared to face believing that this day would never come. 

So while dealing with tremendous grief, Glimmer is trying to do arguably the most important job in Brightmoon that she was never trained to do, that she was never suppose to have.

Do you ever think about the fact that Glimmer was never meant to be queen?
