Allium boy is too dumb to think of a different birthday for his alts, as evident by the fact that virtually most pro-Onision Twitter accounts have their birthday set in the 11th of November.

How to tell if an alt account is really Onion Man: A Thread

Hello! So I saw a post a while ago about another Twitter account that was suspected of just being another alt to our favorite onion, called OnisionProud. Digging myself into this hole out of curiosity, I had noticed another fan account that was being accused of being him as well, though I really feel it is unlikely that this second account is also him. Because of this, I decided to write this post which basically is going to be me showing what I look for when trying to determine if an account is just Onion, and what I’d recommend you should look for too.

First thing I want to point out is Onion Man made it really fucking obvious by also making OnisionProud’s birthday November 11. For anyone who doesn’t know, that is also Gurg’s birthday.

Red Flag #1: The alt is not following a large number of people.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it isn’t possible for a fan account to not be following a ton of people. Especially in newer accounts, this will obviously be common and the number will probably grow with time. However, what I mean by that they are not following many people is if they are only following Onision, Laineybot, and maybe a few other Onion fans.

Lets go back to our prime example here, OnisionProud. For some reason my laptop isn’t letting me attach images to my post so you’ll have to bear with me and either look at the account yourself or trust my word. This account matches the point I just made. They follow Onision, Laineybot, that Rod Dangerous account, even RedPotato666 (who has also been accused of being Greg), a few fans, and some other people such as Andy Biersack, Jessie Paege, and Eugenia Cooney (who we all know Greg loves also so this doesn’t help him much either).

Most of Onion’s top fans usually also follow Shane Dawson, but we all know Greg is too much of a little bitch to even try to come off as believable in that field.

Red Flag #2: The account isn’t really a fan account, but more so a ‘defense’ account.

This is where I am going to mention the second person who was accused of being an alt, and I am going to contrast the two.

Stay on the OnisionProud account if you are looking at it. Take a look at their tweets. Notice they are more so defending Onision when he is called out, or attacking others who have called him out in the past, such as Repzion (don’t like him but most of the tweets are directed at him), Jaclyn Glenn and others such as Shane and Jeffree Star.

Now, there was another account that was accused of being Onision under the name uwuonision or something of the sort (do not send hate.) Honestly, I do believe she is real because unlike what was previously mentioned - her tweets are mainly things you would actually see a fan account tweet. She tweets at Onision and makes tweets about him, and actually responds pretty civilly to critical tweets from what I’ve seen! This is a HUGE and important difference to what we’ve seen from OnisionProud.

Red Flag #3: Let’s get the obvious out of the way; the typing styles.

This is another contrast I’ve seen between the two accounts. OnisionProud literally types the exact same way as Onision. There are so many examples I could use - his overuse of “dishonesty,” accusing his haters of anything he possibly can, and the fact that he thinks his IQ means jack shit. There’s literally no other way around it, sometimes I thought I was just on Onision’s account.

Obviously, there are probably more things I could point out, and I’ll probably make a continuation to this but I want to avoid making it too long. I know it might seem weird to make a ‘guide’ almost on pointing out Onision alts but I just think it’s so important because I do feel bad for people who get falsely accused of being him, as shitty as Onion himself is. I really feel this OnisionProud account was made so he can say things he can’t get away with saying on his actual account. As always please add on if I missed anything!

Onision always prides himself on how he “psychoanalyzes” people and “picks them apart with such detail” and yet his deductions boil town to, “shes a bitch. Hes a liar. Hes stupid.”

Like even in his books his characters are allegedly soooooo good at reading people and picking them a part (because they tell us they are) only to tell us, “HE WAS A DUMB JOCK WITH DADDY ISSUES!!!”
