What difference six years (to the month) and 300% gameplay improvement makes for a series, eh?

I remember being very unhappy with MCF4, it was a very depressing game overall. Well, low and behold that’s sort of exactly MCF10 is addressing! It also has a weird position of somewhat retconning the entire cast somewhat.

In Madame Fate you’re discovering everyone’s.. well, fate. In Fate’s Carnival, you’re attempting to change them. Except pretty much all of the ones I’ve encountered so far are different from their original fortunes. It’s a bit jarring, but the general gameplay and atmosphere make up for it.

An I the only one who finds Ravenhurst a super creepy game? Like this guy locked his kids and wife in an underground cave system to die and there’s all these creepy dolls and stuff…it’s so weird haha but I’m addicted! #ravenhurst
