Rumination disorder
Rumination disorder is a newly recognized eating disorder. It describes a condition in which a person regurgitates food they chewed, swallows, re-chews it, and re-shallow it or spits out. It occurs within the 30 minutes after a meal you have eaten. It can be diagnosed at any age or gender. It develops at 3-12 months and tends to disappear by itself. Children and adults with this condition need therapy to resolve it. Unlike medical conditions this disorder is voluntary. If it is not resolved as an infant it can result in weight loss and severe malnutrition that can be fatal. Adults restrict the amount of food they eat in public. This causes them to lose weight and become underweight. It may be caused by depression and anxiety which most disorders are caused by. The cause of this disorder is also unknown. Your change of posture both during and after eating is going to be different. SIde effects are digestive problems, dental problems, weight loss, and chapped lips. It helps by distracting yourself, stopping the train of thought, sharing with others, writing things down, solving a problem, identifying triggers, and meditating. You can start treating it by seeing you or your child care provider or be referred to a doctor who handles disorders. Long term effects are increased risk of dehydration, malnutrition, weight loss, poor school attendance, emotional issues such as anxiety, stress, and depression. You're repeatedly going over a problem or thought without completion. It’s common to acid reflux or GERD and this disorder is a very rare condition that very few have. Some say it feels like a sour taste in your mouth or fluids moving up or down in your stomach that eventually comes up as throw up. Everyone has experienced rumination thoughts sometimes in their lives. It can be a positive or negative rumination though it really depends on the person.

Pica
Pica is a disorder that involves eating items that’s not thought of as food and don’t contain nutritional value such as hair, dirt, or plain chips. They do not do laboratory tests; instead it’s made from the clinical history of a patient. Persistence of eating is once a month of substances that don’t provide nutritional value or that’s not considered food. It’s mostly to do with children in their toddler ages when they eat glue, gum, mental, paper, and other things. They are not averse to ingesting food, but children under the age of 2 should not be diagnosed with pica. It often occurs with mental health disorder which makes it unclear how many people have it. Pica can affect any gender at any age so beware your children under the age of 2 can have it. It’s more relevant in developing countries. First-line of treatment is testing for minerals or nutrients and correcting those. It has causes due to underlying diseases such as stress, pregnancy, cultural factors, and nutritional deficiencies. Iron-deficiency and malnutrition are 2 of the most common causes of pica. Treating medication or vitamins often resolves the problem. Treating it involves behaviors, the environment, and family education. There is not a way to prevent pica. Symptoms are nausea, pain in stomach, constipation, diarrhea, stomach, and lead poisoning. Doctors describe craving and chewing substances that have no nutritional value. It is mostly found in people that have autism and other types of developmental disabilities. If left untreated so long you may end up getting lead poisoning. It increases when an individual is experiencing extreme stress and anxiety. Animals such as dogs and cats can be diagnosed with pica. The complication rate is 30% and death rate is 11%. Pica is a serious health risk to handicapped patients and diagnosis is very difficult so this needs to be taken seriously.

Binge eating is believed to be the most common disorder in the United States. It most likely begins during your early childhood or can begin later on in the years. You have similar symptoms to bulimia or binge eating subtype of anorexia. With this disorder you typically eat large amounts of food in a short period of time and you tend to feel a lack of control during binges. You don’t restrict calories or use purge behaviors, such as vomiting or exercise, to compensate. You are eating a large amount of food rapidly until you become uncomfortably full. When you start to have an episode of binge eating you start to feel the lack of control. People with this disorder often are overweight or obesity. This increases the risk of medical conditions such as heart diseases, strokes, and 2 types of diabetes. It occurs on the average of once a week for 3 months which is marked as distressed when present. Something most people overeat on occasions such as for holidays, family or friends events. When they are over eating they try to eat inscret or alone to not get judged. People with this disorder tend to feel depressed, ashamed, guilty or upset about eating. There are things that can help you, but dieting may cause you to binge eating more than unsal. If you don’t want to seek help and you’re sure you're having symptoms at least try talking to somebody you trust. A loved one or someone who you trust may help you take the first step to seeing a health recovery. They can become an expert at hiding it which makes it hard for you to detect it. The causes of this disorder is unknown but it can be genetic, biological factors, long term dieting, or psychological issues that's increased at your own risk.

Anorexia
Do you really like food as much as I do ? Some people have eating disorders and don't enjoy food as much as I do. Most people have anorexia and bulimia, because they are conscious about their weight and body shape. Anorexia causes people to watch what they eat. It is considered a bad illness, because people start to starve. Doctors do not have laboratory tests to diagnose people with anorexia. People with anorexia weigh 15% or more below the expected weight for age, sex, or weight. Treatments of anorexia are to restore normal weight, support groups, counseling, and family therapy. To notice symptoms with family and friends they will dehydrate, dizziness, fatigue, lose weight and also have low blood pressure. This disorder is placed in two different categories such as restricting and binge eating/purging type.Restriction Is the limitation of food which is the intake for primary weight loss. Anorexia is an eating disorder that should be taken very seriously. Your body is denying the nutrients that it needs to properly function which is why anorexia is a life threatening disorder.
