New Notary Fees in Washington

A very big announcement has been published with the Washington Secretary of State regarding fees for notary acts. Notary acts have increased to $15 for each act per WAC 308.30.220 and can be seen through this link. https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=308-30-220. This is a huge announcement for notary public's in general and helping to improve the cost of living.

I can't say enough of how fun it was to be a participant of the Flavors of South King County regional business expo which was hosted by Kent Chamber of Commerce. Here are just a small sample of some of the photo's Chase Mobile Notary had a chance to catch.

Also a special thank you to Kent East Hill Nursery for providing an amazing and gorgeous hanging flower basket as one of the prize items. Hopefully I'll be able to share the photo of the winners with everyone soon. Especially looking forward to developing new business relationships with those I had a chance to talk with.

holy cow....what a day. My first ever participating in an expo. Thank you Kent Chamber of Commerce for such an amazing opportunity.

Spoke to so many people and will be reaching out to two fantastic winners who entered my free giveaway event tomorrow. I tried to do so tonight, but got asked to do a couple of last minute online notary sessions. When a notary is needed, we answer the call.

Been a little bit since I last posted. Construction season is getting an early start this year and the calendar if filling up fast. If you're buying land or planning to build a new home, chances are you will need be in need of a notary public.

every once in a while you get that perfect request to work with a client and you get this view out of their living room window. There is just something about this view of I-90 looking out towards Bellevue and Mercer Island that just wows you. The view at night is just as spectacular. I love my job and some of the places it takes me.

For those located near the area, there is a Technical Assistance event sponsored by the South Seattle Chamber of Commerce at Southcenter Mall on the 3rd floor near the movie theater in the Sky Terrace.

Lots of different businesses will be here to help any questions that could help you with your business. I'll be here as well and would love to see you.

Today was fun with a hosted event by the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce held at the Burien City Hall. Met with many business owners who stopped in to discover there are many reasons a notary public can help with business matters. The other cool bit was that the conference room we were in was directly across from the library, so had a few curious individuals wondering what was happening.Funnest part of it was meeting a special young man and being able to explain to him how amazing fingerprints are. According to mom, he was very happy to learn that.Looking forward to joining the next event which I'm hearing will be held in Tukwila.

Couple of exciting things happened this weekend.

On Saturday, it was brought to my attention there was a MAJOR paper sale where many in the notary industry, or heck, anyone who has a very paper hungry kinda job, was able to score big time on paper. There was no way I could pass up an opportunity to pick up a legal size case of paper for $15. The only sad part was there wasn't a difference in the price for cases of standard size. Either way, it was still a score that I happily took advantage of. Still thinking I need to go back and see if I can get some more.

The other was the attached photo of this road shark. I was able to see this while on may way to another job. I giggled and couldn't resist getting a photo. Such an awesome paint job, even better they had a shark fin on top.

Always something new that happens during my work day. Love it.

Is it sad that I'm beyond happy that I finally found a container that will actually truly fit my legal paper? Took a while and many emails, but yay. No more cardboard box in my trunk.

It is those little things that can really make a rainy day just shine!!!!

My job is so fun, especially at the beginning of fur baby season. Ended up in Gig Harbor to see this little guy. He was all wiggle and couldn't sit still long enough to not have a fuzzy wiggle. Definitely some of my more favorite notary assignments is seeing all the extra family members.
