Often, we must look to what remains from ancient civilizations for guidance.
10/14/14 Challenge — So I’ve been following ancientsocieties.com since it started about a week ago and this was the first day I finally got to the answer in a timely (IMO) fashion. Was actually second, whee! Wouldn’t have figured it out without the help of the guy who was in first, as we were bouncing ideas around in the comments section and it would’ve taken me much longer if he hadn’t been spitballing aloud. As it was, he got to the finish line about a minute before I did. Yay, teamwork!
So, of course, I turned around and encouraged a bunch of other people who asked for help. It reminded me of the camaraderie of college, esp our theoretical math classes. I don’t expect to own this new course of study, though. Funny thing, the woman ostensibly behind the website, Stella, has us organized as Students Of Truth. She sometimes gets a little too tin-foil-hat for me, but it’s very Fox-Mulder-y so far, so it’s definitely entertaining.
Anyway, I really liked what the solution led us to, which I’m sure Stella will eventually share with the world at large. I also like that this week’s clues will all share a theme.
Less pleasing is the fact that Stella wants us to start choosing bloodlines. Ethnically, I suppose, I ought to pick Mu. Intellectually, I prefer the Nabateans. But if Endgame is to be a PvP ARG with, I’m hoping, in-game advantages based on the flavor text for the differing factions (because, though I love Ingress, it kinda bothers me that there’s no in-game difference between the sides,) I know I should choose a bloodline that complements my play-style, which is very “attack-attack-attack before they can get their defenses up” and then “when they do get their defenses up, fight on my terms.” My main Ingress group thinks this means I should go Minoan, and I tend to agree.
But nothing’s in stone yet, especially since the bloodline write-ups are all flavor at this point. We shall see!

Aisling Kopp Avatar
Aisling uses the same avatar for both g+ and Twitter. It seems to have a Celtic relationship - research is below. Thoughts on relationships and why Aisling might have chosen that avatar?
------------
http://create-recreate.blogspot.com/2013/11/pan-celticism.html - “The other one is a proposal by Robert Berthelier in the 1950s: This flag have green and golden yellow colors, commonly associated with the Celts, and two conjoined triskelions (in the style of a celtic knot), representing three Gaelic peoples - Scot, Irish and Manx - and three Brittonic peoples - Welsh, Cornish and Breton.”
http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/int-celt.html - Berthelier's "Interceltic" Flag - image by Mikael Bodlore-Penlaez, 29 August 2008
A report of a previous flag is given by Divy Kervella (1998) in "Emblèmes et symboles des Bretons et des Celtes". According to the author, there is no Interceltic flag recognized by all. The most known was created by Robert Berthelier, from Brittany, in the 50's. It is made of a green field charged with two yellow interlaced triskells, the first of them symbolizing the Gaelic countries (Scotland, Man, Ireland) and the second of them symbolizing the Brittonic countries (Wales, Cornwall, Brittany). Each of the six nations is therefore symbolized by a branch of the triskells. The triskells are inscribed in a yellow Celtic circle, which has been used by the Celts as a rallying sign since the beginning of the century. Green symbolizes both fredoom and the sea which links the Celtic countries.

Tools of the Trade
It looks like so far Twitter, g+, and YouTube are the big character places. So far not found much on Facebook, Tumbr, etc. But will look and add what I find to my Important Links page.
So - for managing Twitter, g+ accounts, what tools do people use?
A trick for g+ that Linda Besh taught me - make your own private group with categories you can use to separate different posts - then when a character posts or you want to archive something, share it to that group - makes it easier to search and find things!!! And yes, I have created a group for Endgame ;)
I created a Twitter List for Endgame (on resource page) and a circle. But what other ways are there to archive tweets and g+ posts?
I also use Storify. For now I am only tracking Greg Jordan (again see mt Important Links Page for that - http://chasingtheendgame.tumblr.com/links)

Starting this crazy thing
So – going to start a number of series focused on topics from the upcoming Endgame (here is more about it https://plus.google.com/u/0/105483363191101602622/posts and here is the official site - http://endgameiscoming.com/ ). And just track my official thoughts and what I learn and find as a hunter in the endgame.
I tend to hang around twitter (@geologylady) and g+ (https://plus.google.com/u/0/+JoJoStratton/posts) more than tumblr. But this will track my search into this crazy world.
The tags will be #jojoendgameseries and then a tag for whatever series
