a/n: I have close to no writing experience, especially in english. may be too fluffy for character but who cares. idk

you probably were really stubborn about NOT being sick in the slightest to get to such a state. so the first thing Vox does is a "told you" smirk

not being able to even stand up properly, you whine about your pain. constantly or from time to time, either way, it makes Vox really nervous even if he pretends it just annoys him and nothing more

of course, he'd provide you with the best treatment you can find in Hell, the same place where the only hospital is in the Sloth ring, which is literally the furthest thing from you. being ill gives you time to overthink your afterlife

but even with that treatment, you don't get any better for days. Vox isn't nervous anymore. He's deeply concerned

he knows you both agreed on him not using his hypnosis on you. he knows it won't actually help you. but seeing you in pain is so annoying

so Vox gently asks if he can do that, and you probably don't even hear him at first. you don't hesitate when you do, though. anything to make this pain go away, even if for a moment

hypnosis helps you relax and dissociate for a while. Vox keeps your mind on better things, which was hard for you all this time

most importantly, it makes you finally breathe deeply and fall asleep to see nice dreams and not fever nightmares

Vox stays with you through it, too nervous about how his hypnosis would affect your ill brain. he probably falls asleep by your bed cutely, but if anyone shows him a photo of this, well. there's plenty of ways of getting someone to delete things from his phone

thankfully, Vox's hypnosis didn't affect you in a bad way. relaxing with its help actually was a missing puzzle on your way to heal !
