from the beginning , jackie really wanted to hang out with the gang , despite her social status that she loved . when the group would go out with kelso , she always wanted to go . she got mad when they went to concerts and such without telling / inviting her . truly , they didn’t have much a reason to ( she was always rude / mean to all them ) , but she got her feelings hurt nonetheless . it started out because they were kelso’s friends & she loved him , so she wanted them to like her . & she really wanted to spend time with kelso , even if others were there . she wanted them to think of her as permanent in his life . after hanging out with them a lot , she established a bond with donna & slowly the others . so when they broke up , she really didn’t want to lose them & she feared she would . anyway jackie cares more about things than just popularity lmao and we should all stop reducing her to that . yeah , she cares about some shallow things but she also cares for her friends . she didn’t stop hanging out with any of them after kelso .
