as impromptu and impulsive as Baji is
will storm into your house, fling open your room door, and drag you out before you realized what is going on
doesn’t leave without saying bye to your parents if they are at home
sometimes comes in the middle of the night, especially on nights when he still has too much energy left in him to sleep
too bad if you are already asleep, he will pester you until you are up
makes sure to keep it down though, don’t want to wake your whole household by throwing a fit
you storm his house too - much more respectfully though
but don’t do it in the morning because Baji will literally fight you if you try to drag him out of bed before noon
he is not moving and you can’t make him
Mah boy is not a morning person - anything that involves getting up before noon is off the board immediately
okay no that is a lie if you threaten to go with someone else or cry he might grumble and get out of bed but he will go with you
got to be something you absolutely want to do and will not miss for the world - to the point you would go without him
too FOMO to let you do that tbh 🤡
most of the time you wouldn’t jump on him on his bed to get him to wake up, so the rare times you do he really doesn’t mind that much 🙏
considering he jumps on you while you are sleeping to wake you up
still asks you what is wrong with you
Cats cats cats
Cat cafes, feeding community cats, volunteering at the local cat shelter, playing with cats
Baji literally cannot get enough of cats, and neither can you
boy is probably made of catnip or something, cause cats can’t seem to get enough of him either
you get your fair share of feline attention, and the two of you can spend a whole day just petting and playing with cats
Of course yall do other stuff as well
Never planned for beforehand - the two of you just kind of decide that you wanna hang out that day and just go with your mood or whatever is going on around town
food is almost always first choice - going out to eat at yall’s favourite cafe or something absolutely horrid as a challenge
don’t do the horrid one often because both you and Baji have notoriously weak stomachs
funfairs and carnivals are another favourite - binging on snacks, playing carnival games and going on rides
like video games, Baji is an absolute menace at carnival games, especially those that are a test of strength or accuracy
anything that you are eyeing, he can easily win for you
more than happy to exchange stuff with you if you happen to win something that he wants
you two always return from fairs with armloads full of prizes and stuff and your wallets completely empty
you two can most likely read each other minds or something by now - somehow whatever the two of yall wanted to do for the day usually lines up with each other
if it doesn’t, then the two of you will just argue and make a scene, and go with whatever you wanted to do
Baji is still baby - he doesn’t want to see you sad, so he just puts up enough of a fight to soothe his pride and then go along with whatever you wanted to do 🤡🤡
if Baji is recovering from a fight he got into, gang-related or not, he usually wants to do something more relaxing somewhere quieter - so yall usually end up taking his bike out to the outskirts of the city or the countryside
if its too impromptu, you two will usually grab some snacks, drinks and water from a convenience store
or if its an advanced notice outing, maybe a picnic or fishing or both
you are the one that packs the food for the day before heading out
definitely stargazing when the weather conditions are right and yall don’t have to wake up early the next day
exception is when there is is a meteor shower, then by golly the two of you are going to watch it whether there is school the next day or not
picnics are usually arranged earlier on the same day so yall will already have a good spot to watch the show
Baji will absolutely beat up and threaten anyone that tries to steal your spot, so no worries there
makes sure you get home safe and sounds after staying out so late
you make him text you as well once he reaches home too do that you can sleep in peace

Maybe you were neighbours-turned-friends with Mikey and Baji. You apparently lived just down the street, and came across them in the middle of one of their almost daily fights in a small court in your neighbourhood, and instead of shouting at them to stop or running with your tail between your legs, you chose to instead sit in a corner and wait it out.
The harsh rays of sunlight had softened considerably by the time the sound of flesh hitting flesh faded away, and you finally looked up from your little corner of the court, surrounded by open textbooks and completed homework, to find two panting, yet stubborn, boys. You were fortunate to have recently stocked some first aid material in your bag, and offered to patch up their wounds once you had packed up. It was a cool evening, and the light breeze was a welcomed refresh from the brutal afternoon heat, even though it didn’t completely dry off the sweat pouring off both boys after such an extended fight. You did your best with the limited knowledge and resources you had, washing any cuts and wounds in clean water from your bottle, before sticking a plaster or wrapping a bandage.
The night had taken over by the time you were done, and taking pity on their grumbling stomachs, you insisted on treating them to a nearby eatery, one of your personal favourites you stated. ‘Don’t worry about the money, it’s on me’ was squeezed somewhere through the dinner, but Baji and Mikey almost found themselves alone yet again when you tried to leave as soon as you had settled the bill, your mind already turning to your remaining uncompleted assignments that were due tomorrow. Baji was fast, grabbing the sleeve of your school attire before you had even left your seat, only to turn bright red and avoid eye contact when you turned to give him a confused look. Mikey stepped in smoothly, handing you his mobile with a contact page already open.  And when you found the duo waiting for you the next morning on the street outside your house, you didn’t question it.
After that day, wherever Mikey and Baji popped up in the neighbourhood, you were sure to be spotted not too far away. Baji would always end up losing the fights he started with Mikey, but that never stopped him from coming back with yet another challenge. You never quite understood their need to fight and beat the living daylights out of each other, but you didn’t judge them for that instinct either, always making sure to treat their wounds after they fought, humming to yourself under your breath as you gently disinfected their cuts with stinging alcohol, and wrapped bandages around them while they chatted and laughed.
Being allowed to hang out wasn’t an option that was normally open to you, so even being allowed to sit and listen was a treat. You were a quiet one, often finding it hard to talk to others, making it difficult for you to make friends in school. Home life was equally dull, and while you had taken up a side job running errands alongside school, even though you didn't need the money, with the hopes of improving your social skills, there didn't seem to be any improvement from that front. Now, you had your two new acquaintances to at least have a chance at this.
Mikey, as he said to call him, was an interesting character, and a challenging start to your new social life. He didn't speak with words, he spoke with actions, and for someone like you who shied away from both, you found it hard to communicate with him. Still, you persevered, finally finding a breakthrough topic of food, your chatter going from favourite to most disliked food, and then having Mikey poke fun at your preferences. From time to time, you brought him boxed lunches, bentos that you made alongside your own, seeing that he looked forward to lunch so much everyday. You were sure to include at least one of his stated favourites, and receiving back an empty box made your week. The two of you still spent most of your time sitting in silence, and you found that okay. His company alone was deeply appreciated.
As for Baji, your other neighbour turned acquaintance, he was comparatively easier to get along with, seeing how as long as he wasn't provoked, he really was very friendly and kind. He was impulsive, but that was what you found brought the fun, always banging on your door at all hours of the day to drag you out for yet another adventure, even if sometimes it ended up with you patching up more wounds. You always were more than happy to go along with him on his impromptu journeys, provided you weren't in the middle of something important. Making sure to have a stockpile of ingredients for his favourite foods so that you could throw together something for him before leaving, you always found life a bit brighter whenever Baji's around.
Although often finding that you never quite got through to either, you were more than willing to play a supporting role, being a wall to bounce ideas off, lending a ear for them to rant out their problems, or even a shoulder should their emotions get the better of them. Something that didn't require you to dig deep into your non-existential social skills.
So it was with relief when Mikey came back one day with Draken, or Ken-chin, as he insisted you call him, in tow, introducing the taller boy to the group. The two of them clicked in a way you never could with Mikey, and you were happy that Mikey had someone that had his back in ways that you couldn’t. At the same time, you found that Draken had your back in ways that Mikey and Baji couldn’t. Ken was easy going, and much, much easier to talk to, somehow always managing to catch your meaning even if you fumbled up what you were trying to say, unlike the other two who just gave you that confused look and moved on. You enjoyed chatting with Ken a ton, and the advice he dished out on self-improvement was invaluable.
As time went on, the four of you somehow became the seven of you. With school becoming more hectic as the months went by, you couldn’t quite keep track of where or when Mikey picked up his new friends, but you were always glad to meet new people, ready to welcome them with open arms and a warm smile. Maybe it was around then that you started to refer to them as friends, even though the taunting voices in your head said otherwise.
First came Mitsuya with his level headedness and positive outlook on life, an addition to the group that you were glad for - it was tough trying to boost the morale of your friends all by yourself. Another easy-going guy who could translate your jumbled words and thoughts, you thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with him as well, legs swinging and speaking softly about whatever the latest trends in food and fashion, and what you thought would suit the various members of the group. You two sometimes exchanged handmade gifts, and every specially sewn gift you have received has been carefully tucked away somewhere safe, even if Mitsuya insisted otherwise.
Pah-chin followed soon, with his aggressive tendencies and self-proclaimed stupidity, whose brutishness in life seemingly melting a little more every time you quietly rebutted his insecurities. He was almost a gentle giant around you, making sure never to raise his voice or shove his face in yours after that first time you yipped and cowled from him.
And finally Kazutora, who gravitated towards you almost immediately, your motherly nature something that he craved but lacked at home, and your tender care that soothed his wounded heart. Almost losing his balance and curling into your touch when you asked shyly if you could touch his hair, and then demanding you continue when you stopped. This became a regular thing quickly, with Kazutora quickly gaining the courage to lie in your lap as you ran your fingers gently through his hair and along his scalp, missing the fleeting glances of jealousy from the rest.
You could see why people liked having friends. It was nice to have others to hang out with whenever school was out, be it just for a meal or a snack, or when you had more time window shopping or catching up with school work. Even if the workload that you balanced between school and your side job was building steadily, and your sleep was being compromised more and more to make up for time spent with your newfound friends, the heavier eyelids and blacker eyebags were, in your opinion, a small price to pay for a break from the gnawing loneliness. Between school, work and your friends, you thought your life was good. Never one of those dull and lonely moments that you so dreaded before meeting Baji and Mikey.
It only started to dawn on you that your friends were beginning to act strangely when they started popping up more and more in places where they have never cared to be before. Sure you had various members (mostly your neighbours Baji and Mikey to be honest) crashing your house at all hours of the day, and you always welcomed them in, but they never turned up while you were out on route on one of your errands. And definitely not at your school during lunch hour, seeing that you attended a different school from them, blazing a trail of beat up delinquents to boot. You never minded their presence, happy to have company walking down quiet roads in the darkening hours, or see an eager face and a wave of hand through your classroom window whenever the lunch bell pierced the air. Various members (cough Baji and Mikey) had tried unsuccessfully to pull you out of class to go on adventures with them multiple times, while others tried to get you to drop your errands to come hang out and relax instead. Take it easy, they insisted. You look tired.
But you brushed it off as them being worried about you. The warm feeling in your chest at having people that cared about you was new to you, and their hopeful faces were hard to resist. You gently let them down every time, explaining that even though you would love to, school and work were still important to you. When a pout did inevitably appear and made your heart melt, you always reassured them that they were as important to you, before they extracted a promise from you to spend more time with them. It was something you never failed to promise. After all, they went to such trouble to be friends with someone as socially inept as you, plus always having someone accompany you no matter where you were and the time of day. The most you could do was return the favour.
What you didn't know was that the six friends never did organize this among themselves. Snatching time alone with you was something that all six came to do individually, a secret, personal act of selfishness that the rest were never supposed to find out about. It all boiled down to not one of them feeling that they could ever get enough of your company, your attention, your time. Sure, almost every second of your life outside of school and work already revolved around the group, entirely monopolized hanging out with some or all of them. But it was with the whole group. It was never with just them, just one. Your attention never felt enough, and that was when they started attempting to steal more.
Constantly running into each other at various points, way too often to be a coincidence, was probably what tipped the whole operation off. There were only so many times that one could use the excuse of just happening to bump into you, such as Mitsuya bumping into Pah-chin helping you out on an errand, or that one happened to be in the area, with Baji regularly running into Mikey hanging off you at your school during lunch break. And it was only then everyone finally pieced together the ongoings behind the scene, and a secret meeting was called. The group managed to come to an agreement (with some shouting and punches thrown) on the days and times that each was allowed to hang out with you alone, and life went on as usual for you.
Days and weeks passed in a flash, and you had never been happier. You took as many errands as you could with the limited time left after deducting school and friends; the money earned went almost entirely directly towards those bentos crafted specially for each member of the group, filled with their favourites that took a whole day to make. While you did start working more for the social interactions, and never for the money, the appreciative smiles and the empty boxes you received made your effort and time spent all worthwhile.
As the various examinations came and went throughout the year, the number of looks of anxiety and confusion on the various members of the group rose and fell as well. With different levels of expectations put on them and with vastly different levels of capability, it was no surprise when you found some members lagging behind more than others. And with the threat of yet another retention hanging over Baji’s head, you were equally anxious for him, though that anxiety did fade when you heard from the others of him befriending Chifuyu, someone that was helping him study at school.
Being the brightest out of the seven, you never made it a point to single out any particular friend to help, simply making sure to let them know that your notes were there and your door was open. There was no begging for help, like you had to before, no picking on people. Striving to help them as best as you could, it was to your delight when the group found your lessons much easier to follow and understand compared to school. Combined with your open-door question policy, lessons with you, especially those one-on-one sessions, were in high demand, seeing that you went through any doubt they had thoroughly, ensuring that they understood every part of the problem solving before moving on. And no, they couldn’t “just” copy your homework, no matter how many times they asked.
Most importantly, even in the midst of examination mayhem, you made sure that you always had time to be there for them outside of schoolwork, be it day or night; a constant presence in their lives, someone that could lend them a ear and a comforting shoulder without judgement or pity. Arguments and tensions within the group never lasted long when you were present, easily diffusing their hot tempers and that itch to fight with just a crack of a smile or a small laugh that slipped through. Life was easier and a hell lot of more fun with you around, and everyone in the group knew that.
Out of the blue, or seemingly out of the blue to you, your efforts in learning how to be sociable seemed to be finally paying off. Although you never expected results, you did finally manage to connect with a couple of your classmates that you had sat next to for most of the school year, engaging in small talk about their upcoming holiday plans, and their anxiety about finals. It was short, and after class had ended for the day, but you found yourself looking forward to speaking with them again. Maybe this time it would work.
When Kazutora, on one of his scheduled times alone with you, caught you instead laughing alongside some classmates as you came out of class, it was unexpected and definitely unwelcomed. A tick of annoyance started to bubble up in his gut when you took your time to realize that he was already standing right here, waiting for you. Someone had the guts to steal your attention from him, right in his face. But before his negative thoughts could well up any further, before the itch to break their legs took over his hands, everything popped and faded in the light breeze that blew ever so gently down your school corridor when you looped one arm through his. Taking advantage of his momentary stun to wave a final goodbye to your classmates, you turned your attention back on him, giving a gentle tug on his arm, pulling him away from those disgusting, thieving bastards. That cheerful grin and bright eyes that Kazutora lived for apologising for making him wait, and asking him where you two were off to this fine day washed away his foul mood from earlier, although he did make sure to sneak in a death glare at them behind your back before you pulled him away round the corner.
Even long after you had waved him off and retreated back into your home for the night, the sight of you laughing with someone else, people that weren’t them, bothered Kazutora enough: digging into his brain when he tried to sleep, taunting him that you could have fun with others, that you didn’t need them anymore. Waking up in cold sweat, your goodbyes and waves burned into the back of his eyelids everytime he tried to go back to sleep, the dark of the night begun to haunt Kazutora more than it comforted him. Unable to wait any longer, not while you were still out there, the threat of you leaving them hanging over his head, he, with trembling fingers, called a secret meeting the next night, one of those that didn't include you of course. And when he brought up what had happened the previous day, what he had seen, it was there and then that the group realized that no, they didn't like that one bit.
You were one of those few rare souls that weren't put off by their intimidating looks and presence, or their strange and violent moods. You could see past their brutal punches and kicks and truly see them for who they were, not just brushing them off as another delinquent like everyone else did. You never found the need to cowl before them even in the face of their anger, opting for understanding, for acceptance, instead of fear. Even with the diverse range of backgrounds the six came from, the one thing they could all easily agree on was that they really liked being cared for and fussed over, but what they didn't like was you giving others the same treatment. You were their friend first; only they deserved your smile, your laugh and your tender, loving care. Others would just take advantage of your kindness and throw you away; you didn't need any others. It was for your own good.
They allowed you to continue mingling with your classroom scum as far as their patience could stretch, holding out just until the weekend, all the while promising and reminding each other that they would act as normal as possible in front of you. A few clenched fists and glares behind your back must suffice until they can act. You couldn’t find out what they were planning on doing. And it was a breath of fresh air when the weekends finally, finally rolled around. Now, to work.

honestly Baji is not the type of friend to get jealous if you have other friends/you don’t hang out with me every spare minute of your time
you’re free to hang out in school with whoever, alone or in a group
doesn’t mind joining you to chill or eat lunch with a larger group of friends - even shares some mutuals with you
but you better still spend a minimum amount of time with him every week - that is bestfriends only time together
those friends know very well where the line is tho - Baji can get possessive and very protective very quickly - don’t test him

your parents most likely found out that Baji is a delinquent who has impulse control issues
or in other words Baji probably beat a kid down the street from both your houses who had made fun of your outfit and the kid’s mum came to complain to your parents 🤡
welp turns out that kid recognized you from somewhere so its ultimately your fault

You probably already watch the latest episode of Tokyo Revengers, or read the manga, but I wonder how the reader would handle the current relationship with Kazutora and Baji leaving the group?
Hello, I am that anon who request how readers would handle baji and kazutora leaving Toman. To answer your question, I would say go wild with it, I think it would be interesting how Takemichi is allowed to talk with reader, but it would be so much more angsty without him *wink* *wink*
Hello, I am the *wink* *wink* anon. I am so sorry to hear you got shadow banned, wish I know how I can help, but I am pretty clueless about it. Can’t wait to read the part two of yan toman!
About the prompt with Kazutora and Baji leaving, I think you can make it a happier ending since we got a new factor in this au aka the reader. I know the toman boys probably don’t wanna drag them in, but with Baji and Kazu's friendship are on the line, Mikey might be desperate enough to ask them for help cause the reader is probably the only person both of them would listen or Takemittchi convince Mikey to do that? Heck, maybe the reader volunteered to do so cause they don’t wanna lose another friend.
You don't have to do any of these but just food for thoughts *wink* *wink*
+++++++++++
I love your platonic yandere hcs! Can I ask how the Toman boys would react to their friend developing a crush on a later member of Toman, specifically Chifuyu? Thanks!
+++++++++++
yandere bsf baji reacting to reader wanting to break off their friendship 🧍🏻‍♀️…
+++++++++++
Hi!! I saw that you were looking for scenarios and I think I have one! Yandere toman finding out that the reader has a different group of friends and they really didn't like it 👀 idk if you would like this one but give it a thought 👍 thx for reading, this I live ur writing!!!💖💖
+++++++++++
Hey hey can I get rindou haitani yandere headcannons plz
+++++++++++
hiii i love your blog and your writing! 💞 so i was just thinking about platonic yan toman boys and them protecting their oblivious best friend y/n from being hit on by members from another gang, how do you think the boys would react to y/n being hit on?
+++++++++++
Hi bestie! Hope you doing good^^ I would like to request for toman,the founder members ft takemichi and chifuyu, x bestie! Reader. so the reader is a member of toman, and a member of their school band club. No one in toman know about this, then one day the reader's band club performance is the same day as toman's war with another gangs. After the fight the reader is in hurry and look anxious, this causing the other members curious why would the reader act like that. So how their reaction when reader is actually a band member? Thankyou for letting me request!
+++++++++++
Could i ask for headcanons on how the platonic yandere toman boys would react to their friend/reader being an idol in training?
+++++++++++
Like I know what would happen but tell me anyways. How would the platonic toman boys react when yn calls and says she is being followed???
+++++++++++
Not a request but imagine someone from reader's school asking them out, so they start just friends to see how compatible they are like chatting at school to texting. Reader never tell their toman's friends cause the relationship is not official yet, but one day, one of the boys found out. I feel terrible for them XD
+++++++++++
Good morning/evening/night , can i request for best friend Baji react of reader being bullied by their classmates? Please feel free ignore if you want to , i hope you have a great day!
+++++++++++
Skoskwjdoajsksjsosnaosnaiska helloi👹
So I was reading like a lot of ur works n stuff and like I was wondering if you were ok with writing for Senju Kawaragi like her a YANDERE?? think Abt it like this girlboss needs love😩 but that's if ur ok writing Abt her. If u don't I'll still support u bestie ❤️💞 kepp up the good work and take breaks like I love how often u post but it's concerning, plz take breaks or u might burn out ;-;
+++++++++++
Idk if you reply but the ask is open, if it's not and I would like to apologize but if it is then lemme tell you the idea that's been bugging my mind. Platonic Yandere Toman with a darling that can leap through time, like straight up time travel. But unlike Takemitchi, there is no current 'her' that could be in autopilot mode like in the timeline where she left, she straight up disappears and just arrive in the future where she have been missing for years with no trace.
AAAAAAAA That Time Travel scenario is just a brain fart while I was watching The Girl who leapt through Time asakshdi. I was thinking about her accidentally activating it after Takemitchy is shoved into the incoming train, like I can see Takemitchy helping her after he found out her powers and trying hard figuring out how to help her to control her Time Traveling powers since she doesn't have a trigger like Naoto while avoiding Toman or Bonten members in the future time she's stuck at
+++++++++++
Hey, It's me, the one that sent the time traveling ask, I've sent one related to it but it was days ago, idk if you seen it. Anyways, I have another idea. Platonic Toman darling who's a former leader of another powerful gang. The current members of the gang are begging for her to come back since its not what it used to be and the darling caved in to them since she also sees the gang as her friends, lmao sorry sorry for dumping my ideas to you I just need to get these ideas out of my head
Ahaha no worries cheese-chan (hey can I call you cheese-chan?) I just think of the commanders as opposite of their appearance for example the taiju looking guy is a total fashionista and actually designed the gang's uniform, maybe there are equivalent of Toman gang (Except Mikey ofc) to The Red Dragonflies, Toman will have beef to Red Dragonflies for darling for sure
+++++++++++
Time Leaper anon here, I've seen The chifuyu crush, well I was just listening to positions by ariana grande and this just got me thinking. The darling is in the karaoke bar on her own and of course being stalked by Toman, she isn't in relationship with chifuyu and just have a crush on him. Yooo, it’s winky wink anon. I know I send lots of things to you, but I think I just got a bright idea for possible fanfic or hcs, which also explained why Takemitcchi can talk to reader without being glared to dead by the boys and a little continuation from my ask.
Setting
The timeline where reader help the toman to get Baji and Kazutora back.
Happened between the end of baji arc and the next arc
Plot points
* Takemittchi went back to the future after the baji's arc ended to find out that shit still play out the same, so he and his girlfriend's brother started to investigate
*they found out that Toman was fighting with some gang and the victim was non other than the reader!
*thus, Takemittchi had to go back in time to find out why the reader is dead or in coma
* Why would the reader being targeted? After Tetta witnessed how much influenced they have on the boys, it was obvious to him that Reader gotta bite the dust for him to create the toman he dreamed of.
*Being a genius asshole Tetta was, he pulled some strings and give the info of toman weaknesses to other gangs that hold a grudge on Toman or simply wanna take them down. Resulting the reader being kidnapped, beaten which led them to be traumatized, coma or possibly dead.
* the boys blamed themselves and each other on what happened to the reader, creating a crack between their friendship, which also create opportunities for Tetta to start his plan.
*It's up to Takemittchi to change this grim fate
Welp, that’s all I can come up at the moment, and I don’t want you to feel pressured to write because how long this ask is. Just think of it as a suggestion cause I need someone to listen to my ideas XD.
+++++++++++
Yo! I have another idea for Former gang leader darling, what if she goes back to being a leader not only from pressure but also the rival gang that they are currently fighting like the black dragons. She have a grudge on Taiju for something like hurting his siblings and being a straight up asshole, she wants to get back at him and secretly becomes the Red Dragonfly leader because she doesn't want to Toman to find out about her past - Time leaper anon

You would be so much better off living as a curse by his side
thought Yandere Geto, as he watched his darling type away furiously at their computer, an indulgent smile on his lips as he took another sip of his coffee. They barely even noticed when his look turned sour when yet another monkey breezed past their shared table, the stench catching in the sorcerer's nose, to which he took another quick sip to cleanse his nose of the god awful smell.
"Almost done with this paper, I swear." His darling muttered under their breath, finally looking up at him from the dimly lit screen, hand moving to wrap around their cup, the first break they've taken in the past two hours.
Geto wasn't sure how his darling caught his attention. They were just another foul-smelling monkey in a crowd of many, an ultra-logical monkey working in some science job. Or maybe studying in some science field? He could barely tell the difference between the two.
But what he could tell was their absolute lack of belief in his line of work. No nonsense rebuttals even in the face of his charming words that normally have them swooning, that "there is absolutely no evidence of souls or the like", and "Geto, please, we need repeatable, scientific experiments to proof that curses are real".
He would have much preferred that a curse user, a jujutsu sorcerer, hell even a curse, invaded his thoughts as much as his darling did, just anyone that didn't stink up his clothes, his apartment and his life. But the man put up with it anyway with his ever-so charismatic facade, luring them in slowly but surely.
Yandere Geto would make his darling believe, and then they will spend their eternity beside him - right after he swallowed their tortured, tormented soul of course. Why make it difficult for him to control his darling when it could be so much simpler?
But to have his smelly little darling reincarnate properly as a curse after he wrings the last ounce of life from them, Geto needed to ensure to the fullest extent that they believed, maybe even acknowledged, that they had a soul. Maybe an introduction to Mahito was in order?

Any belief will do, in exchange for eternity
is what Sukuna's grinning mouth would whisper to his darling before disappearing. Of course, the King of Curses always hope that he would be your god of choice, but any belief that involved acknowledgement of a mortal soul would work.
You should really get that parasite looked at, is what his ultra-logical darling told Yuji. Maybe by a scientist, because they have never come across such an interesting disease before.
Of course, darling thought Sukuna was referring to only religious beliefs, and religion isn't logical, isn't scientific, and contained no hard proof, and so his darling wouldn't touch it with a ten feet pole. Belief meant nothing in a logical world, and an eternity sounded horrid.
Trapping a soul after death is an inhuman feat, but lucky for his darling, Yandere Sukuna is anything but human. Easiest way to do it was to make sure that they were within his domain with the right ritual circle and tailsman sealing them in before either their painless or absolutely brutal death. But he had to make sure that there was a soul for him to trap first.
Sukuna knew everything there is to know about souls, curses and sorcery, but little to nothing of human beliefs. But maybe instead of a belief, if he could get his darling to feel their soul being touched for instance, that could work too.

Tumblr media
It had been a day since Sukuna met his dad-friend, or whatever you could call that relationship, at that little corner coffeeshop. Toji had dropped off his kid earlier on with a small ducky backpack filled with apparently whatever trash he could dig up from his cupboards and called snacks. Dropped him off at the entrance too, that lazy bastard, leaving Megumi to make his own way up to Sukuna’s apartment. Luckily the brat had been over before and was on the high end of the intelligence bar.
But then again, this wasn’t the first time he did that, and Sukuna had already prepared himself. But more importantly, he had also notified you, his ever trustworthy neighbour, yesterday.
You looked exhausted. It was the end of the work week, and he knew that your work had sapped you of every last ounce of energy. As usual. If only you just took his offer and became his. He swore he would take good care of you. “Megumi and Yuji’s having a playdate at my place tomorrow.”
He watched carefully as your face brightened and your eyes started to twinkle, and you clapped your hands together. The exhaustion seemed to have completely melted away from your frame. “Oh I haven’t seen Megumi in ages! Is he doing alright? He still likes chocolate brownies, doesn’t he?”
His thoughts raced through his head as he watched you hurry back to your kitchen, now a woman on a mission. You did love the kids so much. He could put another one in you if you like. You would make such a great mom to Yuji.
"One moment!" You called back, leaving Sukuna, shirtless as usual, standing in your doorway, almost as if inviting him in. He let out a quiet sigh. You were still so naive; what if he had been someone else? Maybe someone that would take advantage and push you over that little vintage dining table -
The sound of cupboard doors being quickly opened and slammed shut echoed out from your kitchen. “Dammit! No chocolate left.”
With a few quick steps, you pulled your phone and purse from your bag, throwing an apologetic look at Sukuna before shooing him away from where he had been leaning on your doorframe. "Sorry Sukuna, gotta make a dash before the store closes."
Ahhh the way his name rolled out of your tongue sent a rush southwards, but alas all he could do was watch your back as you turned round the corner at the end of the corridor and disappeared from sight.
Sukuna shook himself out of that precious memory, stepping aside to let Megumi in, instructing him to drop off his bag (of trash) on the sofa. “Yuji! Megumi’s here!”
The thundering of footsteps down the stairs was all he needed to hear as his hyperactive son all but threw himself at his friend, having impatiently waited all morning for his promised play date.
The duo said their hellos and traded insults, horsing about as young boys did, before Yuji seemed to remember something important that he forgot.
“Is Y/N in today?” Yuji’s eyes were practically sparkling. The older man could read his son's face like an open book. They definitely knew that you definitely had a soft spot for them; you basically spoiled the duo, or Yuji mostly, rotten whenever you saw them, whether it be with their favourite sweet treats that you carefully handmade, or by playing with them whenever you had the strength to keep up. Still, he nodded, stepping out to lean on the exterior of his apartment’s door frame, allowing the duo to rush over (the only time he’s ever seen Toji’s brat actually run) to your closed door.
"Y/N! Y/N! Come play with us!" Yuji rained your door with blows from his tiny fists.
"Coming, coming!" Hurried footsteps before your door flew open, and an absolutely heavenly smell bursting from your apartment. Sukuna instantly had to bite back the groan that was just about to leave his throat. It smelled as divine as you.
The clamour to play quickly turned into a clamour for food, as even Toji's usually sulky brat perked up at a chance for an actual treat. Yuji was busy straight out embarrassing both Sukuna and probably his entire line of ancestors by starting to outright beg for chocolate as if he hadn’t eaten in the past week. But you were kind and understanding, and your laughter quickly quietened them down.
"You boys wanna come in and sit tight for a bit?" Your smile was bright and contagious as you ruffled the hair of the two boys. "They're almost ready."
A cheer of agreement, with Yuji being the louder of the duo, and you stepped aside to let them through, the pitter patter of small feet disappearing quickly into your house.
You poked your head out, catching his gaze from where he was currently leaning. “You’re welcome to come along too, Sukuna!”
Ahhh how could he turn down such a cute invitation?
The kids scurried as quickly as their tiny legs could carry them to the bathroom first (they knew you always made them wash their hands first with soap), jumping into their seats at your dining table, showing off their spotless hands to you. Sukuna strolled in through your main door a moment later like he owned your house, chest bare and adorned with tattoos, closing the door behind him and making himself comfortable on your sofa. Unable to bite back your giggle at the kids’ eagerness, you disappeared into your kitchen, appearing again with four plates expertly balanced on your arms. "Brownies, anyone?
That ever-so brilliant smile grew on your face when both Yuji and Megumi let out yet another cheer (how did kids even have so much energy), and with strict instructions to eat slowly and chew their food, you placed their plates in front of them, before moving - no, gliding - over to where he was seated on your tiny sofa.
"Brownie, Sukuna?" You placed the plate down on the equally tiny coffee table in front of him ever so gingerly even before he had the chance to answer, already knowing what his response would be. And you set your own plate next to his. Ahh he looked forward to you joining him on the sofa.
"Don't mind if I do." Said man crooned with the silkiest tone he could manage, watching you quickly turn away, muttering something about getting your phone, but not before he caught the blush that flushed your cheeks.
That was a good sign; that he could still make you blush meant he still had a chance. But even so, his go-to for picking up women failed to have the effect of having you jumping his bones like the rest of the ladies. Hmmm.
The brownies that you poured over the entire morning were gone in a matter of minutes. The TV droned on about the day's dull news in the background, but Sukuna could barely make out what the monotonous voice was saying, not with you barely holding back your laughter as you recalled yet another hilarious incident from work. “A-and then…”
You looked absolutely adorable, Sukuna wished he could say, your nose crunched up as you tried, and failed, to get out your story, your cheeks flushed with laughter, giggles still managing to break out even with your extreme efforts. What a cute little neighbour he had. You were so close too, with you turned to face him, and Sukuna facing you, one arm resting on your sofa’s back, propping up his head. He could just lean over and -
“Y/N! Y/N! We’re done!” Yuji shoved both hands in your face, and Sukuna immediately leaned back, tsking at his son’s bad manners (what the hell is this timing, you little cockblocker!), only for you to giggle and wave him off. “We washed our hands too!”
"Alright, you boys can head on upstairs." Wiggling your eyebrows at them, you turned your body round more to face the duo, resting both arms on the sofa back before dropping your voice to a conspicuous whisper. "I just got the Nintendo Switch yesterday! It's already hooked up to the TV!"
Yuji's eyes widened dramatically, and tiptoeing to reach your ear over the back of the sofa, the boy whispered - or tried to at least. That kind of volume was loud enough for Sukuna to hear even if he was still back home on the other side of the wall.
"You have the latest Pokemon game too?!"
All you returned was a wink before you turned back to face the television, but that was enough to send both skittering towards and up the stairs, vanishing from view in just under a minute.
Sukuna watched you shift around in place on the sofa as you tried to find back that particular comfortable position you had been in previously, before finally giving up. “You can always just sit in my lap, you know?” He piped up, patting his thigh. All he earned was a smack on his shoulder and a roll of eyes, before you got up to refill both plates with more brownies. Godammit, and he was so close too.
Time flew faster at your place, or so Sukuna swore, and the playdate drew to a close after what seemed like just a few minutes with you. "Yuji, time to go!" Sukuna hollered up the stairs, stuffing his face with the last bit of brownie, before turning back to you. "Gotta go drop him off at his mom's."
Yuji’s little face appeared in the space between two rails on the upper deck, pouting as hard as he could, as he reluctantly made his way down, Megumi followed closely behind. “Huhhhhh? So soon?”
"Come on, save your progress then." You called up, putting one hand on your hip. "I'll make sure it's still there the next time you come round."
"Better not play without me, stupid head." Megumi muttered at Yuji, boinking his pink-haired classmate on the head before retreating from the railing.
"Hey!"
Sukuna sighed, allowing his now moping brat to make his own way over to him, helping the boy to put his backpack on as Yuji continued to mutter furiously under his breath. "Can you put on your shoes by yourself?"
"But I don't wanna! I wanna stay here with Y/N!" Me too, kid. Me too.
Chuckling, you patted Yuji on his head, rustling his pink hair even as Megumi continued to cling to your other arm. "How bout I pack a couple of brownies for you to go?"
"Really?!"
You nodded solemnly, crossing your heart with a twinkle in your eyes. "If you behave for your father and put on your shoes, okay?"
Nodding eagerly, the young boy quickly obeyed, making a break for the door, leaving Sukuna to let out an impressed whistle with how well you handled the normally rebellious Yuji. You felt your face burn a little, turning away slightly to hide your blush. Nothing but good signs today for him. Sukuna disappeared momentarily next door to grab Megumi’s bag, since he most likely wouldn’t be back in time to return him to Toji. You noted that his free hand now held a shirt, carelessly tossed over his shoulder, when he strolled past you to set the little ducky backpack down next to the sofa. The pink-haired man's cheeky grin only widened when he noticed you looking.
Cheeks flushing from being caught, you hurriedly pressed a large paper bag, already neatly packed and waiting on a nearby shelf, into the half naked man's hands with your free hand. "Don't let him eat all in one go, okay?"
Said man only smirked in return as he strolled off, pausing only to make sure that Yuji's shoes were put on right. "Thanks for everything, Y/N," he called out, closing your front door behind him.
You wanted to bury yourself somewhere and hide with how hard you were blushing, but Megumi broke you from your shame by giving you a good hard tug on your sleeve. "Do you like Mr Sukuna?"
“Uh, um, no?” Your face was most likely turning a brighter red as you stammered out your response. Stammering to a kid? A new low for you. And it helped even less when all Megumi returned was a raced eyebrow. You swear this kid was too smart for his own good sometimes.
Instead, you forced your thoughts away from your smirking neighbour (who definitely had no interest in you and your plain life), opting to give the bright, eagle-eyed Megumi an awkward smile, before gently ushering the kid back to the dining table. "How bout I make you a drink before your father comes to pick you, hmmm?"
Toji arrived late, as usual. Didn't have a reason to, if he was honest, but after his latest job, the man just wanted a bit of alone time before he had to pick up his brat. Besides, Sukuna never complained. He pounded twice on the door, waiting to hear the telltale shuffle of large or small feet. Nothing.
"Mr Fushiguro?" Toji turned around at the call of his name. "Megumi is here with me. Sukuna's out at the moment."
Your face popped up from your doorway a few metres to the left of Sukuna’s, a cheery smile greeting him. In that instant, all the comments that Sukuna threw off-handedly about you came rushing back to him, but he swallowed his thoughts, tucking his hands into his pants before strolling over, his signature grin on full blast. Oh boy was he glad he picked out this set today.
"What's your name, doll?" Toji drawled out, leaning against your door frame, his thick arms crossed across his chest, making his muscles bulge in his tight shirt. Megumi instantly rolled his eyes, recognising that tone of voice and posture  that his father pulled, before retreating to hide in shame behind your legs.
"I'm Y/N."You tugged gently on Megumu's hand, and he reluctantly appeared from behind your legs, tossing the older man a sullen look. He knew what the older man was trying to pull with you, and he wasn't having it with his favourite lady. Toji just rustled his hair, turning the smirk at him instead. "Sukuna left Megumi with me to wait for you."
Without waiting for a response from him, you turned to Megumi, squatting down to face the younger boy at eye level. "Can you put your shoes on yourself, Megumi?" You waited for his nod, returning a bright smile when said boy confirmed that he could. "I'll grab your backpack for you."
Heading back to the sofa, Toji suppressed the usual wolf whistle he would let out at the sight of your behind, instead looking down at his son, who was seemingly busy trying to murder him with just an angry stare, maintaining constant eye contact even as he roughly tugged his shoes on. What a precious sight - his boy being all protective. Really takes after his father. But the slight tension between the father and son duo was broken when you returned, setting Megumi’s ducky bag down on the floor beside him.
You made a show of putting a paper bag of brownies into Megumi's bag, zipping it up, and helping the kid to put it on before walking him the few steps out the door.
"Here's a portion for you too, Mr Fushiguro." You held out another similar-looking paper bag to the man, the sweet smell of chocolate wafting out from its contents through the brown paper. "I hope you like chocolate brownies."
"Call me Toji, sweetheart." Taking the bag, he made sure to let his calloused fingers brush against yours, lingering just a tad longer than necessary before pulling away.
It was a good sign for him that your face instantly flushed, and you were suddenly unable to meet his eyes, instead looking down, then around at the clock. Your hand gripped the door handle.
"P-please bring Megumi round more for playdates. Yuji gets lonely quickly. See you next time, Megumi, T-Toji-san." The door was already closed before you finished.
"Interesting." Toji muttered, as Megumi left him facing the door in favour of making his way to the lift lobby, thoughts already on how to best ration out his share of brownies and steal more from his father.
Tumblr media
"Hey brat."
Megumi turned to look up at his father from the passenger seat, where he was certain he was not supposed to be sitting in.
"You like Y/N?"
"...No." Toji let out a raspy laugh in response, and the car swerved slightly. No fucking way that one was true.
"Promise I'll take care of her."
"...."
"Cross my heart, kid." Toji took his eyes off the road for just a moment to return his son's gaze, crossing his heart with one finger. They both knew that Toji never broke those kinds of promises.
"...She makes the best brownies."
"Atta boy."

Imagine the JJK universe where to be reincarnated or turn into a curse, one would need to believe in souls
and yan!Sukuna just happens to fall for an ultra-logical darling. Everything happens because of <insert science fact>, and if it can't be explained with science, its because we haven't got the science to explain it.
Nothing that they witness or are told about changes their resolve about the afterlife existing, or on curses, or on souls and ghosts, even if they come into contact with jujutsu sorcerers or curse users. Oh you have another soul living inside you? You must have Dissociative Identity Disorder. Another mouth can manifest on your face and talk to darling? Nah, it must be an illusion or some currently unexplained science phenomenon. You really should go see a doctor about that.
Yandere!Sukuna has his mind set on trapping his darling for good, and the best way to do that would be to kill darling, or kill them and then have them reincarnated as a curse, before trapping them in his domain. But with an ultra-logical darling, Sukuna is hesistant to make his move in case darling doesn't come back. So for now, all he can do is wait and watch from inside Itadori.
