This is probably a tough ask but do you think someone can be lgbtq and still be a Christian? I’ve seen a lot of different views on this, but even though there are things that are seen as not so great to the lord the one thing I know a lot from people I know myself who are gay tell me they’re Christians and love Christ but also believe it’s who they are and god loves them that way! It’s a difficult convo I guess
Here are some of my thoughts:
God loves every single person, and Christ died to save every single person. (Read John 3:16-17)
Every sin is equal in the sight of God, except for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. (Read Matthew 12:31)
We all deal with sin, and although God loves us through it and offers forgiveness to us, we shouldn’t ever take advantage of that and use it as an excuse to keep sinning. (Read Romans 6)
Our identity should rest in Jesus alone, and nothing else. We were created to experience that love and let it be the defining factor of our lives (I am thankful that the world doesn’t define me, but my Creator does). (Read Ephesians 2:10)
People cannot live with one foot in the world and one foot in their faith, it just doesn’t work. In other words, we cannot live in sin and have a healthy relationship with the Lord. (Refer back to Romans 6)
God’s love isn’t ever in question. He’s going to love us no matter what. Again, how we choose to live is up to us. Our lives can be in surrender and align with His Word, or not. Use the Word for guidance and live accordingly, and that’s the greatest way to live a life pleasing to Him.

So my luck has changed and whilst taking a break on my business I have taken my dream job at a country club. 3 days into it and I have created 3 features already.
On the left is a seared snapper with kumquat/avacado puree. Sauteed veggies. Topped with a mango/green tomato salsa.
On the right is a radish, a dollop of pimento cheese, a piece of crab meat, topped with capers and a lemon vinegrette.
I also took my take on a corned beef and cabbage soup and called it Irish ham. Obviously substituted ham for corned beef.
I look forward to all of my endeavors and hope you all are still enjoying this blog as well.

It has happened
Well it happened for me, I have seemed to found my perfect job. It's at a country club where I'm allowed to be creative and it is big on wellness. You know what that means, it means I get to be creative with vegan and Keto and paleo and whole 30. Woo-hoo! God is good and I'm excited to share my experience with you guys.
Wish me luck

She got a 4 course all Keto dinner the other night.
1st homemade veggie dip inside cucumbers
2nd Greek salad with homemade Greek vin.
3rd zucchini noodle love mein with Korean meatballs

Where to go from here?
So I have been cooking for a very long time. Anything from dishwashing in a kitchen to executive chef. I have even worked in a place I absolutely hated just to learn from a celebrity chef and get the great money and benefits.
That being said I got laid off from there due to slow work. So now I am working at a local hot dog place because it was the second job I picked up whilst at the other place. Well that is obviously not my dream but it is better than nothing at the moment.
With that being said I am trying to figure out what god wants foe my life and what I really wanna do all at once
Those 2 don't really go hand in hand.
Anyway I am working on a business plan for a business I excited to start although my ultimate goal is a cafe.
I am going to blog my journey for all of this also and what it takes and what messes I run into. Practical real life stuff.
Happy blogging. Eat and live.

So I have been a chef for going on 12 years and love every single minute of it and every single new burn, that may be pushing things, but anyway. I'm looking to start new avenues and Branch out so a blog is where I am. I will be posting videos, and recipes and anything in between. Thanks and enjoy
